ML is perky , at first you'll think he's a brat but he's good by nature. Easy going and a good friend. Of course, after he figures out he's in love with FL, he'll be all over her. He'll always be witty,but that's his charm. He complements FL's character. He is a big child with a good heart. The show is mostly about friendship in a time of Japanese occupation. Romance is subtle but it's lovely and pure (don't forget to watch deleted scenes,links are in discussion section). FL is weak in first 12 episodes,but with time she grows stronger. Her friendship with 2ML is pure. She'll later explain what kind of emotions she has for ML and 2ML.
