You should learn by now, not everyone has the same taste, opinion, interest...yet you jumping all around bc you know what's good and what dramas are captivating. And yes, POB is just popular,
but far from good. If it wasn't for LYN, I would've dropped it after few episodes. No chemistry between the leads, slow and uninterested story. FL can't act, just making face grimace ...why is it popular? Cause actress came back after 2 years and her fan's campaign started aggressively. Either way, non of us spits on the show,as we don't care. Yet, here you are.. engaging negatively on every comment even though nobody mentioned you...

I love how you find yourself called out. I see you're really experienced with just few rated dramas....yet here you are , lecturing us what's good show and what dramas deserved higher rating...and then you mention POB😭

1st show you mentioned,that aired in May this year ? Aggghh..Everyone is saying how popular it is and how good it is. ..and I watched it.. stayed just for the ml. But his character was far from good, he had better roles. As for the FL ..my god, that was a torture. Her FD is out of line and control, most of the time. They are pushing her even though she doesn't know how to act well. Wellz yes, that show can be called slow and boring, without really romantic moments and chemistry. As for 2nd show you mentioned, I really can't assume what it was 😁 Cheng Lei is born for the strong roles, being a general suits him. He fits the role of XY from the novel,cold and bold, bit warm inside.

Agree. Having Xiao Yue like in the novel would be boring. I understand they couldn't bring reincarnation in the show, ( face changing would be ok) and then follow the script... Little brother would be great character. Rewatch it, it gives you a romantic boost.

Show follows the novel in about 75-80%. Yan He died in the novel on the battlefield (by saving one of his soldier who has 2 kids...Yan He was very emotional about being a father). After getting shot by a poisoned arrow, he lived 2-3 months yet antidote couldn't be found and he never saw his son (in the show he has s daughter). There're 2 extra chapters about how he met his wife and how life goes after his death. 😢

Yes..in the novel He Yan adopted that mute dog when she was in academy. None in He household knew about it and the dog was her only happens .When she came back to steal HRF's letters, that dog helped by biting the servant. Later, Xiao Yue brought the dog into his house (and we all know he is particular in hygiene) to surprise He Yan. Xiao Yue thought how perfectly nice is the house with that dog.
