Guys, why there's a tag for fantasy as a genre? Do we know something more than here written synopsis? I'm almost at the middle of the novel ( around 205th chapter) and I know they modified the script but in what extent?

No, she can be silly and romantic sometimes but she is far from stupid or annoying. She gets stronger with episodes.

If you're interested and have time, my deepest recommendation for the novel. It will bring more light into the series. With more positive characters like her 'new' brother and father, her younger sister from the first life,more real friends....even with negative characters like HRF and her ex husband (from the first life), story has a nice flow . Only ML isn't as romantic as in the show, he genuinely has strong feelings for her.

I didn't see negative comments from novel readers and I'm one of them. It would be impossible to stick to the original story because as we know,China has really strict censorship, so reincarnation needed to be dropped. If some side characters weren't left off, even 60 episodes wouldn't be enough. Yet , the show follows the novel in about 80% of the plot . Those who said they don't like FL it's mostly because they don't like the actress. FL is the same as in the novel, petite, gentle, but strong,smart and independent. Zhou Ye did a great job going into the character.

Just saw it all 🙄 Few accounts camping here with same comments,same few shows on the list,like who does that so obviously... when someone rates 4min porn 10/10, lose the ability for rational judgment and any form of discussion. As for the other few accounts, who falls under the 2 shows fans.. I don't know who's shaking their cage, but being jealous on FL even though she doesn't have any connections with their faves is idiotic.

Read the novel, watched the show. There's no disappointment. No, it's happy ending. The show follows the novel in 75-80% in major,but only in ep 34, the thing with 2ML was added to the show (unnecessary). Fight scenes are ok, romance is beautiful and chemistry between the mains wonderful. Acting is on point. Even though you can see here people talking how actors performance is mediocre(nonsense),but they've no idea how the characters are in the book.
So if you like Mulan type of story, give it a try and don't listen to haters.

You should learn by now, not everyone has the same taste, opinion, interest...yet you jumping all around bc you know what's good and what dramas are captivating. And yes, POB is just popular,
but far from good. If it wasn't for LYN, I would've dropped it after few episodes. No chemistry between the leads, slow and uninterested story. FL can't act, just making face grimace ...why is it popular? Cause actress came back after 2 years and her fan's campaign started aggressively. Either way, non of us spits on the show,as we don't care. Yet, here you are.. engaging negatively on every comment even though nobody mentioned you...

Yep, that's the effects of the show. Still can't move on either. They brought Chu Zhao and a marriage unnecessarily, we could've got married couple with a little baby daughter instead.
