If you have time, give AMA a chance. I love how they gave a story that some characters are childish but they can be still serious when it's asked or by some occasion. The love triangle is not typical.
It's just FL is good with all of them, and closer to some of them bc she felt safe. She missed those feelings bc she lost her only brother. So accent is on friendship, not romance.🥰

From general point , AMA isn't lighthearted at all . Just bc it has some comedy , we can't say it's lighthearted. You can compare different series in one genre. Some can be heavier than others...and that's ok,it's comparation. But the show per se is quite serious, and that's a fact. Everything else is personal preference.

Try Something in the Rain (k drama ) ,it's great. Their relationship is so natural and romantic.
Just attention, her mom is typical Korean toxic mom. I felt like I was suffocating every time I saw her screaming .
