Mulan type of novels😁 I already read Rebirth of the Star General ( few times) and Mo Li( on hold)....

No, there's no fake Marquis in the novel, but he did lied to her in the camp, pretending he is just a lowly solder. FL did stole rations from the ocupators army, but she was never condemned for her actions (she went with other soldiers to hunt, and even hunt a bear by herself). She was praised for her strength and wisdom . ML is indeed with injures. So she'll drug him and replace him in the next fight (still thinking he is just a lowly solder). That's how she will kill some strong general from the ocupators side. ML will come for her and she'll finally find his true identity. Of course,she will kick his ass( and everyone would know he got bruises from his wife 😁)... so that's why lying plot is all about..to make her go to war, find out his identity and make her pursuit her military career)

It's different in the book , but I assume they had to change something to make a shortcuts. Novel and the show are great, but I am still under impression of the novel.
After seeing previews I'm really disappointed they've changed that part and made her meet fake Marquis . He deserves beating, but no in her name, but from her. Hope she will kick his ass to purple 💜

I'm near the end of the novel. LHA likes FL , but we can barely catch it. He was just friendly with her, but she knew his Li fraction had bad intentions,so she stayed away from him.
