Agreed. I watch Chinese drama, and i particularly choose to watch fantasy ones with beautiful costumes and out of this world storylines... to escape and to be entertained. Golly, if i wanted a slice of life one, i might add well just watch a documentary.

TTEOTM ticks all the boxes for me. Love it. And i have discovered an admiration of LYX... he is such a talent and i want to see him in more projects!!

I disagree. I think Chen Du Ling did a great job being the antagonist. Most comments show people hate her, and that is her job... she's supposed to be dislike able, and her wicked schemes is what progresses the story.

I agree with you. I hate YXW. She is a fraud and a liar. Going to help the enemy during a time of war is a death penalty. And doing it to your supposed lover?? Unforgivable.

Love the interaction between PR and TTJ. They share a similar energy. She's like his little sister that he never had... i love when she snaps at him, "You jerk! i hope become lonely till old age!"

Poor TTJ, didn't even get the chance to blow out the dandelion! How on earth did such a big gust of wind emerge in a bedroom?? Science obviously does not exist in xianxia.

Though she makes me cringe everytime she touches him... just like when Tian Huan did with MingYe... it's so fake and i can just feel TTJ's discomfort from it.

YBC may be an unfaithful, manipulative, traitorous harlot, narcissistic coward... but she played an important part:

1. She made YXW emotionally suffer. Punishment for betraying TTJ and breaking his heart with he was sorely injured.
2. Made YXW jealous and allowed her to realise that she is in love with TTJ
3. Serves TTJ tirelessly only for him to realise how much he loves and needs YXW.

Gotta give it to her though.... i liked that YBC caused YXW to be emotionally tortured... YXW sorta deserves the punishment for being soo naively nasty to TTJ.

I understand that YBC denouncing XL for TTJ because she is a narcissistic coward and wants to live... but i don't understand why YXW keeps wanting to save XL?? What on earth? The country is at war... people are gonna die... are you for TTJ or for the enemy... argh... i need to prepare before i turn into the hulk with anger!!

It's all a xianxia supposed to be. Great costumes, nice cgi, brilliant storyline, the chemistry is through the roof, and the acting is top notch.

Also, my heart was aching for TTJ. LSS shat in his face when he needed her the most. C'mon girl, try and understand the guy before jumping into conclusion so quickly.
Also, why does she care so much for XL? Of course TTJ feels betrayed and think she still has feelings for that man!! Argh!! She infuriates me!!
