Guess it's second nature to MY as the God of war should always seek peace. I side with SJ on this too though as MY's decisions doesn't reflect anything that SJ wants. I love the line that SJ proclaims she no longer have him in her heart.
Dude! He may be a slayer of demons, but in his own residents he has housed a very wicked witch (TH). His failures are many. 1. Low eq. Doesn't know how to express his love to the people he loves. 2. Blinded by. He trusts TH too much to let her have such power in his own residents. Even when she's in isolation on the comet, she still has visitors. What the heck?? Isn't that supposed to be a jail? 3. Fails to understand SJ. Thinks she wants to restore her clansmen, but what she wants is justice and revenge.
Director Fei stating that ZhaoLuSi is a gifted actress who he has been blessed to work with. He goes on to detail how she is able to control the flow of tears in each eye with precision. And he also showers praise to WuLei.
If I could, I would award WuLu with the award for best break up scene in episode 54. Where they promise to live well separately.
WuLei with that smile, meanwhile his eyes welled with tears, bursting to come out but doesn't. And LuSi in agony yet still manages to smile, although she is deeply hurting inside. It is so obvious that they are both suffering immensely without each other. Both are like walking zombies... existing, but not really living. But they cannot let go of the guilt, and abandonment.
Hands down, the best depiction of sadness without breaking down in tears. So much composure, and yet, depicts so much with those subtle glances. I've replayed it soo many times as I admire both actor's portrayal to the tee.

Me too! Emotionally damaged... So many scenes that requires tissues. I think i balled my eyes when her mother is screaming after NN as the palace gate closes, confessing that she was wrong. Just thinking about it makes me sad.
Y'all need to remember that CSS is only like 15-16 lmao so she's gonna have her young and dumb moments sometimes
Call stupidity what it is. Stupid. When she does something thoughtful and right, I'll give her credit. But i won't accept the age as an excuse... what she did on helping craft a fake royal military seal to trick the monarch is by far dumb. She risked so much just to protect a useless crown prince, and a queen who is not even related to her. And then the audacity to stick up for an the crown princess consort, against the advice of her fiance. This incident is quite Inconsistent to her character... and i found myself wanting to see her get a taste of the consequence of her dumb decision. Just so she could wake up.

15-16 in those days are of marriageable age, viewed by society to be make enough to be a wife, a mother and to run a household. This argument doesn't cut it.
I love how LBY & CSS communicate. It's so calm and mature. And i love how this drama explores them working out their differences in a rational and sobering way. There's always going to be arguments in a relationship, but what makes the relationship grow is how they work it out. And i think tonight episode's will be sweeeeet!!!
