Don't expect much from BL shows on GMMTV. They sell BL fantasies.Though I kinda enjoy watching the first 3eps,…
For me it’s all about the chemistry and the way the characters are written. Both is done really well in 2gether so far, so I’m happy with what we get - and that says someone who would pay good money for seeing Max&Tul making out for an hour straight LOL
The more I watch Bright, the more obvious it is that this guy is 95% Caucasian. Not that it matters, but the Asian genes aren't strong here. When he dressed up as a woman it was even more obvious. They chose hair and make-up for western girls, and he looked nothing Asian. The deep brown color of his eyes is really the only thing that isn't typical for white people.
you know, in real life whenever a man's heterosexuality /appears/ to go over 100%, it usually at the very least…
I occasionally watch some interviews with BL actors. When asked about relationships and love their responses are vague. They sometimes have a girlfriend, but they seem to be open to fall in love with guys too. I assume they behave like this to promote the series, because in reality most of them are 100%straight. Bright seems to be more clear about his heterosexuality and he and Win don’t do fan service, but that’s just my impression. I don’t care about the love life of those actors. I only care about the series and their acting. But yeah, it’s a bit unusual for a BL actor to not act gay in real life to please fans like many others do.

I’m not annoyed by it. But other actors are more diplomatic when they talk about their relationships/sexuality (using „they“, don’t specify girl or boy). Or maybe it depends on the translation?
He even has the body for it because he is rather slim. And his face (the eyes, mouth) look great with make-up. I knew he could pull it off, but the result was better than I could have imagined. Before the show even aired people criticized the chemistry between Bright and Win. I read somewhere they are too straight to play in a BL series. But Bright can pass as a gay guy any time. He is feminine and elegant - in men clothes too ;P The boy got lucky with that body and face. His appearance is very unique.
Yea so theres this thing that happens in every story and in real life where opposites attract/have good chemistry.…
Well, I know that, but normally I don't hear a voice whispering in my head "This will not work out. NEVER." LOL That was honestly the strongest feeling I got from watching ep 3. That it is just impossible and it made me kinda sad. Knowing it's a romcom with happy ending, they will manage somehow. I'm excited for that.
Everyone is saying this is so cute, romantic etc. But isn't it kinda sad too? LOL The story is rather generic, but the characters are so well written that it feels "real". Watching ep 3 I constantly asked myself why a guy like Sarawat is attracted to a guy like Tine. They are just too different. This cannot work out. But the thing is, my personality is similar to Sarawat's (unfortunately I'm not that good looking LOL) and I too was immediately attracted to Win/Tin (which normally never happens, I'm not drooling over actors). So I guess, it's a thing that introverted, rather serious, but kind-hearted people (like myself LOL) fall in love with others who are goofy, cute, bubbly. But let's be honest for a moment, in real life Sarawat would NEVER get this boy. Tine is a guy who is 120% straight and rather lacks the emotional depth which is needed to make such a relationship work (hopefully we will see a different site of him later). So it makes me rather sad thinking this would have no happy end in real life LOL. Taking about "realism": Someone called them the "straight couple" on Weibo. I don't know about their real personalities/sexualities, but in the series Sarawat is 100% believable as a gay guy. No idea why people are gushing over him how "manly" he is. They dress him very feminine and his whole rather elegant appearance screams "gay" to me (which doesn't mean all gay guys are feminine or there are no masculine gay guys etc.) But his portrayal of the character is very believable.
Why does this series keeps getting better at each ep? Why does Sarawat is getting perfect at each ep?!! Ugh I…
His character is rather sad, though. He is that super handsome guy everyone goes crazy about, but at the same time he seems extremely lonely and bad in socializing with others. Knowing that he is in love with Tine makes it even worse because at the moment it looks like he has zero chances. Good thing it's a romcom , otherwise I would be devastated if he doesn't get his happy end.
