Although, there are so many negative comments at MDL about this engaging drama,; there is one place where refreshing words are written and that is in YouTube - which is more popularly known compared with MDL here.
Not all people has an MDL account for Korean dramas, for people who are in YouTube are just happy watching a light-hearted drama such as this.
As simply as that.

And yes, you are right - people are nitpicky - they watch in details, they criticize too much, they complain in every details; they became an expert in comparison and they expect too much . . Nothing is good, only their ideas are better.
-- This drama has its genre as a romantic comedy - rom-com and so it should entertained people - and an entertained people are a happy people since they understand the characters and the flow of the storyline - they knew that not all dramas are perfect, it has flaws - but they don't mind. They just came to watch a drama, enjoy watching it and is relax.

--Art and Criticisms are both subjective; subject to one's emotions and feelings.
However, when laying out one's insights on a drama, words should be written in a respectful manner. For oftentimes, the actors / actresses that their words wanted to put down, and as time passes by will become the 'Gems of the Entertainment Industry". (For truly a humble person knew that every one has a talents that should be appreciated . . )

- To be free in writing - is to have a responsibilities on what words to write.
"Freedom, in legal and moral ethics, is not to do what we want to do but to do what we ought to do as a normal, decent people. "

- I have always written that we frequently need to ease up and just appreciate things without any pressure, excessive expectations, or anything else.

- Browsing along MDL, I chanced upon this drama and I was attracted to its Title . .
The story of Cinderella and her Prince Charming has been with the history of mankind since 1634 and I thought to myself this kind of Cinderella story is something else --- and so I watched . .
-- This is my first Korean drama on romantic comedy (rom-com) genre and I thoroughly enjoy the show - for after all we watch a drama to be entertained.
-- Some people are so overly critical and judge hastily that they cannot be happy with a light-hearted and easy to watch drama - for everything else is not good . . .
There is always something to complain, to whine, to compare - while others are happy in watching the show
-- Life is short - to spend time in negativity --

-- As for me, I am 2 years into K-dramas and I don't know them, my first time to hear their names, as much as this is my first time to watch a Korean romantic drama. I am more into ancient / historical dramas.
- In addition, this is my first time to watch the female and male lead here -
I am not comparing anyone here - as I don't know their background; much more to judge how they act . . .

The first time that I've heard of this "Boyfriend", I kept listening to it, and even humming it in my work -- to the extent that those associates came to know and loving the melodies of the song . . . Swaying our heads and tapping our feet (while working) to the upbeat tune . . Everyone else is happy . .
