As simply as that . . if they don't like the show or drama; then don't watch.
Rather than writing too much negativity around.

-- Interesting to know; for I can imagine that those who were writing before were just too excited to share their fantastic discoveries while watching a drama of their choice . . And then, they wrote so well and with respect.

--- However, at this present time, there is some twists, as you get deeper into a drama, you will meet some fanatics who it seems have watched everything under the sun. They have their own opinions and too many opinions create chaos that it sometimes overrides the actual facts.
-- When one viewer is tired of a drama or a show, calling it as boring or not interesting, etc, etc . . they will harshly target the personalities on it (actor/actress). Especially they favored another actor/actress.

-- Art, Literature, and Play should be viewed logically; however, when criticism arises - the views turn into a subjective level ---
Notice the word "subject" - (a person being described and dealt with) - and now a drama is not viewed anymore as something that can entertain a person. Such drama is viewed and is not good because of the person/subject involve on it.
*** And what I have written before - "we lose much joy in watching a drama when we are overly critical of it, we expect too much, and when we measure it excessively based on what we like."

- Yes, "gone are the days when viewers/audience can write words respectfully."
What you can find here are some words of hate, dislikes, insults and sometimes slander to the image and name of an actor/actress whom they don't like, forgetting that such actor and actress are only acting based on the script that were given to them.
-- While they will tell you that they have the right and the freedom to write whatever they think; they forget that "freedom comes with responsibilities".

- And even pictures can be edited, changed and photoshopped.
- Take for example Google: Even though most of the time Google is right, sometimes there are some glitches in the results provided by Google that can be detected by professionals only.
- And when it comes to this Comments Section - I observed that some commenters who seems to be arguing here have their written words being misunderstood by the other party.

Yes, this drama should entertain us and should not be the cause of any online debate or argument . .
-- And should not be the cause of any stresses - as this drama is a "fiction" - which is builds on a narrative story and not on facts . .

-- However, although everyone is free to write; "freedom in writing is not absolute"
-- In Moral and Legal Ethics, 'freedom to write entails a sense of responsbilities"; that is, a written words should respect the rights of others.

For oftentimes, in cases of this platform, a fan who is writing, can either build or destroy the acting career of an actor / actress, especially if such writings tend to destroy and tarnish the image and reputation of such celebrity.
- Once something is written, especially online, it can spread quickly and be difficult to retract, so responsibility is important when exercising that freedom of writing.
-- No wonder why there are so many cases of "perjury, slander, defamation and name-calling in the Entertainment Industry', brought about by those fanatics towards a celebrity whom they don't like . .

Hello. We're on the same boat.
I grew up watching all those western movies, dramas and shows and of course with your words, you know too well how it is with these dramas . . Everything is on the spot and romance and passions are done in one shot.

And yes, you're right. If these dramas will deviate from its original intent and will go to that flow of being westernized; these shows will not be called a K-dramas for which most westerners like to watch.

As whether we accept it or not, whether we will argue it or not, the best Asian Dramas are the Korean Dramas . . for they are the best of what it is . .
Korean dramas strike a balance of predictability and originality.
Foul language is rare, violence is minimal, and love scenes rarely progress past kissing.
And viewers are assured to get good shots of Korean food, culture, tradition and the gorgeous countryside landscapes of Korea.

Filtering the Comments Section here - one can easily pinpoint of those who can write well their insights of this drama; of those who knew how to appreciate and understand the context and elements of this show . . . . And so, they came and watch and enjoy - for they believe that this drama is one which can entertained them well.

I shared the same sentiments with you here. You noted it well.
- If one does not like an actor or an actress; a mature and sensible person will not cross the line of humiliating such celebrities; for they only acted their roles based on what the director and scriptwriter liked them to act.
-- As I have written, a drama is meant to entertain - if one does not like the leads, the responsible way to do is to stop watching such drama . .
We should act and think in a way that we will not tarnish the image and dignity of another . . And this is what a responsible viewer or audience should be.

I have been quite new to K-dramas for about 2 years. Due to my hectic schedule, I can only afford to watch about 4 dramas in 1 (one) year. And until now, I am not familiar with these K-actors and actresses, cannot even memorize their names. is my first time to watch the leads here.

- "I came to watch this drama to entertain myself" . . I find this drama as an amusing one to watch. It has a light-hearted storyline and the casts did their roles as what the Director and Scriptwriter like them to do.

- However, reading casually all the comments here, I am thinking if I am in the right place . . .
I felt that I was surrounded by seasoned viewers who knew everything.
They're writing that they hate the drama, they hate the leads, the age gap, the physical appearances, they noticed all the smallest details, the angles, the light filters, the hairstyles, the grimaces on the facial features of the leads, etc . . etc . .

- As it is being said by one professional Drama Analyst:
"No drama, show or movie is ever perfect" it has always some flaw in one way or the other.
What is important is that a viewer should enjoy watching a drama without being overly critical; in comparing such an actor/actress to another one, suggesting that it should be like that and like this . . We expect too much, and so our frustrations are higher.
With these, much enjoyment is lost when we analyze so many details and criticize everything about a drama.

As for me, being new to K-dramas, I liked to appreciate them all, noting how those casts and crews work together to film and to produce a drama.

I don't want to stress myself by analyzing too much or comparing one actor/actress with another (as I am unfamiliar with them). I just want to enjoy the show.

As someone who is about 2 years in K-dramas and who are not familiar with any K-actors and actresses; my insights for this Cinderella At 2AM is; "I love it!"
I came to watch a drama to be entertained and this one beautiful drama does not disappoint me.
"For to watch a drama and to enjoy it is to understand the difference between analyzing it and appreciating it."
