Let's see, Song Mo... "Secretly"(she's not dumb) protects Dou Zhao and her family members back to the Capitol over the course of multiple days. Making sure she has shelter and food that is tailored to HER and HER needs.
Protects not only her sister's reputation, but her and her entire family's safety by stopping her well-meaning, but stupid cousin's plan to get Dou Zhao out of her marriage.
Begs the emperor, who he's already on thin ice with after not agreeing with the emperor's proposed marriage to the princess, to grant Dou Zhao the right to refuse a marriage, legally without any push back from family or government. He did not ask to grant HIS marriage TO her, which he could have as the son of a Duke.
Proposes to her and leaves the choice in her hands so she doesn't have to answer to his face if she so chooses. aka no pressure proposal.
Trains his military to essentially become UEA, Uber Eats Army, because her favorite dish is in the Capitol, but her favorite place is in the country, with her Grandmother.(again this journey takes multiple days to make normally)
Comes up with a contrivance to ingratiate himself to her father, because they had previously been extremely antagonistic towards one another.
I know I'm missing some, buuuuuutt Sweetie, my Love...my Little Sugar Plum...imma need you to say yes to this man and put us all out of our misery.
You're telling me if I would have hit that refresh button one more time after that commercial break that threw off the sync I would have gotten a higher quality video properly synced....sometimes it's not better to be first js. π€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈ
I'm starting to see some finger pointing and blaming of events on female characters when in fact it was a male character's poor decisions getting them to that point. Keeping is generalized as it's multiple different situations & different characters. lots of "she didn't do enough" or "she's so evil" when it should be "she did the most" & "he's a spinless wonder & I'm shocked he can stand upright" So far every death & misfortune traces directly back to a male characters' choices after a female character puts in effort & thought into something only for the man to look at thar effort & dismiss it or underestimate it.
Okay lets say she straight tells him his mother is going to die, knowing no specifics whatsoever nor the exact…
She did warn him though, or tried to. Her man almost got run over by Song Mo's horse just to stop him at the city gate. Song Mo knew it was a trap and went in anyway. He knew that Dou Zhao knew something because he recognized her servant...he didn't care because he wanted to get to his mother. She went above and beyond with trying to warn him & then put a plan in place to extract him & his people as soon as she could. she interfered in another person's household of a higher rank just to save his ass & almost undid ALL her new life's work to heal him after his stubborn ass went in without back-up. So I would say that she in fact, did the most. She got beaten by her uncle because she risked her life & reputation to help him/heal him. What we are not going to do is blame the female characters for the male characters poor decisions.
Isn't Head Eunuch the old Eunuch Wang?Did you mean his godson, also Eunuch Wang, the one who tortured Song Mo…
the one with the little hankie that gets back in his little carrying case right before the battle begins. it's the same face(nose, mouth, chin). I didnt notice the first time because of the hankie blocking his mouth but after seeing more of him it clicked.
So the head Eunuch is the one that shot them with the arrow that sent them back right? The one with the tattoo on his arm.... I freeze framed the crap out of that scene and the lower face is the same.
I need to know if he got permission to stop it or if he was just rocking up consequences be damned. The way they…
Yup I watched the teaser, but I'm talking about when he was about to stop them from going into the mansion only for him to realize in that moment that it wasn't Dou Zhao who was the bride. Like did he have permission to stop that wedding or was he about to be stupid? Also nothing quite like being overly sincere in your feelings about someone when everyone else that these people knew you cared about are dead....target painting much?
Another episode is executed flawlessly. This drama is truly a gem.Director is brilliant π«°π»All the words of…
I need to know if he got permission to stop it or if he was just rocking up consequences be damned. The way they edited the scenes it's still up for interpretation/further explanation.
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8NfuwW8/ this power FL sure knows how to collect em ππππ don't worry tho…
Until it is blatantly in my face, distant cousin Ji Yong is just an agent of chaos and doesn't have romantic feelings for her. He is my ACE rep unless stated otherwise in future episodes. He just mad his plan was stupid.
I swear to god....someone PLEASE make an edit of every slap and hit in this drama. The amount is getting to diabolical levels π€£π€£π€£π€£π "You actually hit me for real?" π«’
i like this drama - but im not completely impressed with how she is dealing with things she is aware would kinda…
Okay lets say she straight tells him his mother is going to die, knowing no specifics whatsoever nor the exact time of her death. Possible outcome: Interrogation about how she would know that information and can't provide any further proof other than "trust me bro" She has no cause of death, nor does she know if it was murder or just illness, if murder she can't give any names etc. because they weren't besties in their past lives. She heard the gossip train info, which going based on her husband calling her an adulterer and everyone saying "bet" lets kill the bitch so we can kill Song Mo with cause, can't be trusted.
She repeatedly told him to make up with his family. His uncle was accused and his mother's illness worsened at the same time. He went to clear his mother's family's name as the 200plus family members lives were on the line. The dude was busy investigating other things. FL is dealing with her own things and knows FROM EXPERENCE that nothing she says will stop his mother from dying by that point.
We see that prior to Song Mo joining his uncle's army that the father is abusive towards him. The uncle sees the…
As of right now he is the last link to the Jiang family that would actually look further into the death of his wife and brother-in-law. If he's trying to cover it up completely...no loose ends.
