he's in episode 6 of 'Blossom' right? I'm not losing my mind? I've been scrolling through my watched list to find him because I couldn't remember which shows I had seen him in...I was like younger cousin &/or dopey junior character. Finally remembered. Hopefully someone with receipts can add him to the cast list for Blossom.
I'm assuming the schedule change is due to MBC and not Netflix. Really hope it has nothing to do with the plot involving politics/the blue house/president and what happened this week....i'm going to hope it is some sort of sporting event that they are airing around until told otherwise. Guess that means I can go to sleep now...damn I was really looking forward to watching this before work today...oh well.
Think of it like a mini series and not a full blow show/drama. Think BBC/PBS book adaptations.
The site I DMed you normally has things out within the hour of release for all areas(not Japan....that countries content is a waiting game for me, I refuse to get a livejournal and jump through hoops to get access to subtitles outside of my usually subber. My Jdrama plug only subs certain works.) . If the show already has English subs from it's platform normally takes about 5 minutes or less for the episodes to be up. Girly, when I tell you to gate keep...gate keep. These kiddos in the comment sections of instagram and tiktok playing with the world's emotions.
I was coming to the comments to see what everyone's first impressions were only to see the countdown to the first episode saying it still had 4ish minutes to air....I thought this started yesterday. My bad.

Most of them I already have a subscription to. Like Netflix, VIKI, Prime, Hulu, Disney+ and I have a VPN so if it's not in my country I float around until I find one that has the license. (I have a lot of people in my household and we all pay for different streaming services and share accounts as we are all under the same roof.) Try some redit threads and see if anyone has dropped a link. I'll shoot you a DM with a site that is my go to for currently airing Chinese shows. It also has other countries as well, but please to not share the name on public posts or forums.
Kim Hee Won being the director is lovely. For those who haven't clicked away in the cast/crew list of this show, he is an actor and was the P.E. coach in 'Moving' that recruited/protected the powered children. I've only ever seen his acting and this is his first directing credit so I'm really interested to see how he does. I find a lot of the best performances are directed by people who are also actors. They are able to convey/communicate what they want from their actors better than someone who's never worked on the other side of the camera. As they are more likely to have a shorthand that a fellow actor can pick up on faster. Just my opinion.
Do we know if this will be on American Disney+ or if it's just going to be on American Hulu? I'm asking because the way the two platforms edit an episode are different and I have to use my VPN and pray Disney lets me through. Hulu uses hard cuts to black while Disney+ uses the normal transition of one scene to the other without a pause. (normally used for ad breaks, but even if you are a premium ad free Hulu member they still have the weird cuts to black, make it make sense.)
The irony of getting a VPN to watch content from other countries on Netflix, Disney, Hulu, etc. only for them to block VPNs. That's so messed up.
I WILL convince my mother to watch this while it's airing if it's the last thing I do. Because I want to yap about it IRL and I don't want to spoil this one for her. Mama...get with the program I've taught you how to keep track of which platform you're watching on and how to log episodes watched...lets mf goooooo.
This is a tough one. I really want to watch this but it's always the question of do I watch it now or wait. Looks…
Give in...go on the ride in real time so that nothing gets spoiled for you. Mysteries/suspense are always better when you get to speculate without a definite answer for a time.
At the ending of episode 4, did SE already know that 406 is HJ?
I don't think he sees the phone. Nor does he know what the burner phone looks like. The scene is cut in a way that you can't tell if she's turning cause she sees him or if she just heard him coming....aka there may be time to hide the phone before he gets a clear view of it.
The explosion happened, and no one was seriously injured. How is that even possible?
The only explanation they gave was the device malfunctioned in some way and wasn't as powerful as it was supposed to be. But, but, buuuutttt...they showed a rather large explosion on screen so I am, confusion. Also why was Sa Eon the one unconscious in the hospital with his right hand man standing perfectly fine next to him when the right hand man was closer to the bomb when it went off? like there was a whole door between him and the bomb. Concussive explosions will disorient you even with a wall between you and the bomb, but still.
I've also seen/hear it used in the queer community(But I highly doubt that is the reference here) Could just be a sang usage here like Dude, Bro etc that become gender neutral at times. And I think she's the youngest amongst her peers and family members. Unless she spent more time at the orphanage in her youth than we have been shown yet...it could just be he's cray cray and it's a him thing.
I started thinking that the sister might be the mastermind behind the whole plan. What would be the reason for…
I think that she didn't want to be a pawn in her families games, and didn't care about her step-sister, because no one else cared about her. She's most likely coming back because of something to do within the family.
why did the fl even take the kidnapper's phone? also..wouldn't it have some sort of tracking device in it or something..not…
She took the phone because she heard her husband say "Call me when there's a corpse." She was blackmailed into the marriage by everyone around her. The only reason she stayed married was because her mother was holding her father's care over her head, and she can't afford the prenup clauses fines. She uses the opportunity to use a device that cloaks her voice, location, and motive to get money from her husband so she can pay for her father's care & so that HE asks for the divorce and she doesn't have to pay the prenup clause money. She's been forced to stay pretty much voiceless for 20 years. I say pretty much because she openly talks to her father and some hospital staff.
Also, she wanted to fuck with her husband a bit after everything she's been through. She was in love with him(or at least had a major crush on him for many years if not decades) only for him to be cold and indifferent towards her and her well being after marriage. She doesn't know that the only reason he hasn't slept with her is because he thinks it's her mother egging her on and pimping her daughter out as a bride to a wealthy family. He doesn't know that her advances came from a sincere yet nervous affection for him when they got married.
Neither the ML nor FL know that he other has had feelings for them for years, if not decades.
So theories with Ji Sang U: 1)Ji Sang U witnessed the aftermath of whatever happened to the chairman's son(step-brother) of Hui Ju when they were children. Hui Ju was also a victim of something that happened that day, but she didn't actually know Ji Sang U as a child.
2)Ji Sang U isn't Ji Sang U, and the two boys switched at some point, and he's been hiding his identity since the day he was "murdered". He was already good at sign language because his sister was deaf and picked it back up in college when he sees Hui Ju and knows her connection to his family.
3) Ji Sang U knew Hui Ju as a child, but she doesn't remember him.
Theories with the Kidnapper: 1)The kidnapper is the "dead" son of the chairman. And the chairman is his "master". His father "killed" him because of some horrific thing he did as a child that would tarnish the family if it were known to the public so he "killed" his son so that he could hide him and sweep up any psychotic thing he did. If he was already showing psychotic behavior as a child the chairman might have isolated him from others as a safety measure. Hence why he was relatively alone in a big house near the orphanage.
2)The kidnapper is another orphan from the same orphanage as Ji Sang U, and is being used by the chairman.
3)The kidnapper is another orphan from the same orphanage as Ji Sang U, and is responsible for the death of the chairman's only son, and the accident that put Hui Ju in the hospital.
Theories with Baek Sa Eon: 1) He's actually secretly fluent in sign language, but never told Hui Ju. (this one I don't really have a strong feeling on, because I feel like he would have slipped up at some point by now, but she's never slipped with her voice around him either so.....room temp theory)
2) Baek Sa Eon knew the chairman's family for 20 + years and saw how mistreated Hui Ju was by everyone around her. He also knew that anything he enjoyed or liked could be used against him so he kept his distance until he found out she was going to be "sold off" as a bride to a wealthy, horrible man. He never liked Hong In Ah, not even as a friend, because of the way Hong In Ah treated Hui Ju.(Also Hong In Ah being deaf explains why their conversation was through text even though they were both alone at the time she was ending the engagement over the phone.)
These are just a few, but general theory as that all the 20-30somethings knew each other as children and we'll slowly get more info about whatever sent Hui Ju to the hospital and "killed" the chairman's son.
