I literally freaked a coworker out one time when I found where they were in the building by following their scent. They got self conscious thinking they had put too much scent on. They really hadnt as no one else could smell it in the halls but me.

I just got an image in my head of his little tea cup pig flying. (rip little dude, gone but not forgotten)

seems from the extra scene of episode 14 that they were separated for like 3 months. or at least low contact.

it's more about his scent being in her hair and outerwear. car rides/being in his private spaces. I use unscented soap to wash but my hair products have a scent. detergent also depending on type could potentially have a scent. again, I might just be overly sensitive to scent so I thought about it being a way to accidentally expose themselves.

okay...so something that ive been thinking about since the first time she stayed at his place. She showers using his products...and then goes to work. I realize that he might wear cologne, but no one is clocking that they smell the same. Idk maybe it's because I have a sensitive nose and can tell when people change their regular scent. but her being in his car/space his scent would be all over her.
anyone else thinking that someone is going to clock it by reading something over her shoulder? I keep thinking, surely Lumi can tell, but nope.

I am talking about the CEO. Anytime i refer to the ML of a drama I'm referring to the first billed male character.

When she walked away and blocked him I was like "Yes sister! Don't give him your energy right now. Focus on what YOU want and don't include him in the equation of an important career decision."

(I will say, I do agree with Luke that it would be a horrible idea to go with someone to a competing company knowing you've signed a non-compete and NDA.) So Yes, block his ass, but also maybe just maaaybbee the one who knows how litigious the company is has some points that you might want to consider.

I figure Alex just wants her to make another version of the vendor list. Cause I'm really not sure if he ever appreciated her talent. He's too slimy and manipulative for me to read fully. Other than that one scene where he was reprimanding the girl for sending the email about Luke's personal life to the company members, he seems pretty okay with doing anything in his power to one up Luke. Including poaching his protege.

Long as hell comment because I didn't realize I had so much to get off my chest after binge watching the first 12 episodes Sunday and finishing episode 13 today.

Therapy could do so much for the main characters. Luke is constantly falling back into the same behavior he saw/experienced from his own father, and ends up hurting the people who care for him.

Flora is talented at her job but insecure in almost everything she does. She's still so young and being held to a standard that just isn't normal for someone her age. I'm not talking about standards at work perse, more so relationship standards. But when you are dating your superior from work everything becomes grey and burled. This is why it's so important to not get romantically involved with someone who can effect your promotions/reviews within your company/workplace if you are new to the industry. It would be one thing if they never interacted with one another at work and he was only seeing the final draft of her work and had no say in her success or failure within the company.

I'm really loving the show because, as a 36 year old, I can see some of the same mistakes I made at Flora's age when it came to communication in romantic relationships. Pretty sure that timeline wise I'm the same age as her character. So those texts that you read to much or too little into. The insecurity in a new relationship where you're afraid to ask the tough questions you might not like the answers to. Putting up with things that you don't feel comfortable with just because it's been normalized by others around you.

The characters and story leave room for growth and change. I'm looking forward to how they mature and grow once they are separated and seeing how what they learn about themselves during that time could potentially make them work better as a couple together. Because personally growth is sooooo important. Because relationships are partnerships....and right now(ep13) it's not a partnership. They have trust issues and communication problems. Ep13 was the first time Luke actually called himself out on his own behavior and called it what it was. We can see that he at least is trying to be a boyfriend/lover, but oh boy does his mouth just get away from him. How many different ways has he accidently inferred that Flora is no better than a common whore. (I know whore is a harsh word but roll with me real quick)

He gives her an extremely expensive bag after sleeping with her that she interoperates as a hush gift.

He says she doesn't deserve pretty flowers, and that a common fox-tail would suit her better. This could be interoperated in a few ways none of them good. Fox-tail is a very common weed like plant so common and grows anywhere or....it could also insinuate at she is like a nine-tailed fox who has many suitors. (Did we ever actually find out who was sending her the flowers if her friends hadn't had the chance and he looked jealous as hell at every new bouquet?)

Instead of inviting her to spend New Years with him at his place he just asks if she has a passport and a snowboard without any context. She responses bluntly because of the still unresolved flower debacle. And so he just, LEAVES, to another country without explaining to her. I'm pretty sure that even if she had a passport travel visas could take some time depending on country. Sir...tf? I get that she's from a northern town and it wouldn't be unheard of for people from that region to do winter sports, but an actual conversation about her past would have helped with that assessment.

He says the only reason anyone would want to hire her is because she's cheap and obedient. DUDE. I never wanted her to slap him more in my life. The fact it took him sooooo long to realize what he said to her pissed me off even more. I need him to show his bestie what he actually texted to her. Hell, I'm pretty sure his doorman would jump him for what he wrote about his cutie patootie Flora.

I just know Lumi is going to feel horrible about what she's said when she finds out they've been seeing each other. I have not read the novel so I have no idea when others find out, if ever, of their romantic relationship while she was at Lime.

Who is this? The actor looks vaguely familiar but I can't place him and I can't find other pictures of him in the photos. Nor do I see anyone that looks like him in the cast list.

Literally just started episode one so please please dont take this the wrong way...but...is the ML's posture a character choice? Is he supposed to look uncomfortable in the suit he wears in his intro? Is it supposed to not be tailored properly?
The characters around him are giving a reaction makes it seem one way and then the camera cut to him and he looked like his shoulders were hunched and uncomfortable/lost...please tell me this is a character choice and not actually indicative of how the character usually walks/presents himself.
I'm truely not trying to be an a-hole, but I need to know if his posture improves.

It also helps that the ML is very confident and secure in his own irl relationship and tends to go for more mature roles in general(from looking at this credits looks like he's outside the "idol" side for years even though he is technically an idol/singer). First thing i ever saw FL in was a pretty intense second chance romance movie. I think the production chose well for their leads when considering the script and what it would ask of them intimacy wise.
Although sometimes fans truely help their idol, lately I've noticed that certain fandoms feel more like a shackle around the idol's ankle pulling them back down instead of letting them grow as artists.

first time ive been okay with few interactions with the main couple in an ending episode. i really have to give props to Ding and Deng for showing through their eyes how much love and affection Zhao Ling and Ting Yun have for each other. I felt more than satisfied because the main focus was building a peaceful life together. they got rid of their old enemies and retreated into a peaceful life. very happy ending. im just curious where their 6 sons went(apparently in the book they have 7 children one girl and 6 boys, though im not 100% sure on that)

Love the camera work and acting in the court with Zhao Ling holding the edict in ep31. Starts off at a low angle so you can see the devastation and grief on his face and then as the camera slowly pans up and his head his raised once more the calm facade is back in place for the Emperor and ministers to see. Using the edict itself as a shield to block his outward emotions from showing and wiping his expression clean. Not overly done, just the right amount of projection of emotions.

they've both repeatly stated it has a happy ending.

(Emperor): *oh shit their trying to kill my weapon before I can actually use him*
(Emperor): *looks to Elder Tian....buddy unless you want to be working indefinitely, you better think fast*

you mean like a gangly teenage orphan salt smuggler? That's how I read his body language during that time.
