just want to double confirm.. its only airing on netflix? why can't i found it on mango tv channel?
I think it's rights to air in China is Mangotv and all other countries are under Netflix's rights. I don't have a VPN with a server in China so I can't see any content for it on the mangotv website or app. National rights: MangoTV International rights: Netflix
Your order is correct, but I've broken down as to why it's correct a bit more. So depending on where LeShan's…
1st husband has married into his wife's family. He has distanced himself from his father. The wealth the father had come mostly from his wife's influential family and then his appointments within the royal court.
Law wise, if his father were to die, I think he would inherit his wealth, though I'm not sure what land and wealth he retained after the court's decision. He personally decided to leave his position in court from shame and went to his hometown. I believe he acknowledged that Du Yang Xi is his biological son from his first wife, so legally Du Yang Xi has a right to anything that would be passed from father to son. So acquired land and things of that nature.
Personal power ranking atm is still up in the air when it comes to 5th as he was expelled from the city and sent to his ancestral home for punishment. He is a lower ranking official that may or may not have bought his title/grades. But I believe his punishment was for 2 years and they are coming up on the 2 year mark already. I don't know enough about him to place him in a personal ranking yet, but his FAMILY power is the highest because of his direct connection to the royal family.
2nd is the lowest in power and social. He's pretty much sponging off his parents and cousin. They don't really talk about what he actually does work wise. As he doesn't appear to have taken over for his father yet he's just kind of chillin. Think rich kid working for daddy.
3rd took over his family's business after his father passed away. He is the head of his family's branch.
4th is the highest ranking judge(within his court) in the capital city, 1st is now working under him as one of his judges. I'm not sure about the historical implications of the court that is mentioned in the show, as he(4th) has stated he has convicted criminals as well. At least in my country, civil and criminal courts are separated.
Is Leshan's husband the richest, followed by Haode, Kangning, Fuhui and Shouhua? In that order? Also can someone…
Your order is correct, but I've broken down as to why it's correct a bit more.
So depending on where LeShan's husband stands with his family after what he did(in episode 3) the order would be correct. Social standing wise as in-laws to the Emperor 5th brother-in-law has the most "power". He is also the son of the wife(not concubine) so that matters as well. Don't know yet if his family comes from the noble class or the scholar class, but looks like noble class. AKA highest class.
4th husband is a Judge/magistrate(in the capital city, which is a big deal even if it's just a temp assignment) and comes from a long line of scholars. He would be above 1st brother, just by experience alone, but he has generational wealth on top of it.
3rd and 2nd husband are in the merchant class like the Li family, but are wealthier...they would be the lowest class amongst the husbands after 1st husband places 3rd in the imperial exam.
It was normal for scholars to marry women from the merchant class as becoming a scholar was a way to climb the social ladder, but you need money to do that(climb). Mostly generational scholars would only marry someone from the merchant class as a concubine.
It would be strange for a merchant man to marry above his station...aka a woman from the royal, noble, or scholar class.
So to sum up 5th and 4th have generational wealth. 3rd and 2nd also have generational wealth, but are a lower class. 1st husband doesn't have generational wealth but is now in the same social class as 5th and 4th brother...depending on his assignment and theirs will change the order of rank within the court. 1st will most likely become the most powerful by his position alone. But he will always have push back because of his family origins.
Is lusi coming back to complete filming this drama? If she does I hope the filming goes smoothly for her
Considering that this production team were the ones who triggered her illness, I hope she doesn't. If she is forced to return for contract reasons I really hope she doesn't have to deal directly with the ones who hurt her. It's been noted that she was visibly declining for many days prior to her hospitalization but production refused to let her rest properly.
They are like mass releasing all of Angelababy's productions that were put on hold because of her "morality" scandal. I wonder if she'll be allowed to start new projects anytime soon.
i wonder how Shen will react when he get's his memories back? I feel his amnesiac self is already falling for…
They might because of how honest she was with him. She had the opportunity to lie, but she told him everything she knew. Protected both him & his family. Not to mention encouraged him even when he was at his lowest.
I was trying to figure out why Sa Xin seemed familiar. I just finished Flourished Peony recently, he's the little brother that comes back in the last episode to work with the FL. The only actor I hadn't seen recently was second female lead actress...I haven't seen her since 2018 and didn't even recognize her. (not based on appearance just the fact that I hadn't had a memory of her that really stuck had to go into her filmography to see why my brain was like...I think I know her but don't know how.)
Do we not like YuZheng or do we not like Zhao Qing? I am confused. Can someone clear this up for me.
Wait a minute is that Zhao Lusi's ex manager? Is he currently the manager of Wang Xing Yue and Bai Lu? I know they have the same management but i didn't know who it was.
Quick question for those who have been following the production. Did they change the ML character's occupation? In most of the things I've seen prior to watching the first episode it made him out to be a military solider, but they repeatedly make a clear distinction in episode one that he is a volunteer NOT a solider. Was this a change from the novel? Did the position of solider not pass either the censors or audiences?
I don’t think so… he seems like a stubborn one. He’s already very unhappy because of DYX’s freedom.. so…
He's just a stickler for the law so if the relatives break the law he will punish them. I remembering seeing a clip of her watching him in court with her mother as he walks by and her looking all in love with him. So I would assume he ruled in their favor.
Trying to figure out which country has mangotv so i can get my vpn to work. They are up but my region wont let it play EDIT: my VPN doesn't have any severs in China so I'm SOL. If anyone finds a link that can be played outside of China let me know.
