Okay, so it's revealed that DYX doesn't get a very favorable position. Sang, his sworn brother, tells him its…
With love and all the kindness, please don't take my comment as a negative, but as someone with a reading disability asking for a favor. Can you put some spaces/paragraph breaks in the comment? I find long run on paragraphs extremely daunting and hard to keep track of where I am in the paragraph. Having breaks makes the information more digestible instead.
I think the 4th couples story is going to appear soon. As previously Mr. Du has praised the magistrate bcz of…
I think there is going to be overlap like how we met Du Yang Xi in episode 6 but he didn't officially meet Shou Hua until episode 11. So I think we have at least 3 more episodes until they will switch out for 4th sister, HaoDe, taking the lead with Shen Hui Zhao.
Is there a character map around with the characters' ages? ππΌI would like to know how old the mom and her…
Well...the info we have is that eldest sister was married for about 2 years and has been widowed for roughly the same time. She would have been married after the age of 15. The mother is in her late 30s early 40s (they discussed her being similar age as Du Yang Xi 's adoptive mother, to show how much rougher she's had it in life.)
Context clues tell me 4th and 5th aren't yet of marriageable so they are under 15 years old or 4th might just be 15. They play up their youthfulness.
Anybody else catch any other clues as to their ages?
so du is the son of minister yu. so he and his half sister going to marry.
That ooorrr Minister Yu is some how responsible for the death of his real parents or hurt his adoptive mother in someway in the past. His mother definitely knows him, but still unclear why she is terrified of Minister Yu.
I didn't realize we were only getting one episode this week. If I would have known I would have waited to watch. Every show I'm watching is in the sad part of the show and I am STRUGGLING.
Okay so Consort Li is dead...but her SON ISN'T. Why is Luo Zhi Zhou going on a suicide mission when he could rescue…
Dude...I am disappointment personified. production really said "fuck dem kids" and didn't give a single update on any child. We saw neither hide nor hair of any child after the prince was taken away.
The young prince...no clue what happened to him after being sent to the northern boarder. Literally never mentioned again. When is mother dies she doesn't call out for him or see him in a vision...just Luo Zhi Zhou. Jun Qi Luo and Xuan Lie's child(ren) that definitely would have been born by they time he got back to her....not one little glimpse or even mention of wanting to see the child or a "hey how did birthing my child go while I was dealing with state affairs?" nothing nada zip zilch. *side-eye....bombastic side-eye* Just a lets discuss their possible future of taking over our positions withing the two kingdoms. I'm sorry...what? Only bright spot to that year later time jump was our little Luo Qi running to get back to his girl.
just 10 minutes into episode 28......spoilers below
Okay so Consort Li is dead...but her SON ISN'T. Why is Luo Zhi Zhou going on a suicide mission when he could rescue the prince and secretly raise him? Teach him how to be a king and usurp his father and brother? They already be faking people's deaths' left and right. Someone go and save that adorable little boy.

oh, i'm sorry I was trying to be helpful. I wasn't being sarcastic with my comment. I thought you might not have realized that the show will rotate the lead characters.
For those curious about couples as mains for which episode so far.
3rd sister/brother-in-law: as main Episodes 1-10; as supporting episodes 11-17(as of now)
1st sister/brother-in-law: as main Episodes 11-tbd(17 as of now) BiL first appearance in episode 6
2nd sister/brother-in-law: supporting throughout all aired episodes. Have yet to feel like a "lead" plot focus.
4th sister/brother-in-law: BiL has yet to make first appearance as of episode 17
5th sister/brother-in-law: BiL has made one appearance in episode 3...they have yet to actually meet each other face to face....he has a LOT of growing up to do first aka stop being scum.
shouhua and du yanxi story is soooo boring ππ... I don't feel like watching
I guess come back on...Wednesday, maybe...as that will be around the 20ish episode mark...They should be introducing another future brother-in-law soon if they follow a similar pattern to the first arch. It feels like they are spending the most time on 1st sister's story as they still haven't concluded it after 10 episodes like they did with 3rd sister.
I really need KN & CA back, 1st sister story is boring
You might want to just wait until all the episodes are out then, because KN and CA have positioned out of the lead into supporting, probably for the remainder of the show. That way you can either fast forward or I'm sure by that point FMVs on youtube will have consolidated all of their scenes together.
Todayβs episode were great but I wish we could move on to the others sisters stories too
I think there will be a small time jump at some point prior to one of the younger sisters' story really kicking off. As i think they are like 13-14ish atm aka not marriageable yet. I haven't heard them say an actual age, but with the hunting for candy etc. I think it's to indicate how much younger they are to their older sisters.
When the third sister got married, she wore red while the first sister wore all green. Does it symbolise something…
Both are common colors for a head wife. As far as I'm aware there isn't a specific meaning behind it. Maybe message @PeachBlossomGoddess I think she would know if there was any significance. I do know if the bridal clothes are paler that indicates a concubine.
