There's this quote form Before Sunset movie that I really like "I guess when you're young, you just believe there'll be many people with whom you'll connect with. Later in life, you realize it only happens a few times." So, ending BYJ and NHD like that wasn't it at all because they weren't just romantically attracted to each other, they CONNECTED with each other and I am all for some people only being there in your life to give you a certain kind of experience but BHJ-NHD deserved a better ending than this.
