i can't keep watching this anymore. FL is way too mean, arrogant and unreasonable. I'm tired of the way she abuses…
Yes, ML does tend to lack self steam-y scenes. Petition for shirtless Ji Ho!

@jorsais The fact that Hae In and Han Ji Min have been the most talked about actors and OSN was one of the most talked about dramas (only behind Arthdal Chronicles) in past couple of weeks in SK shows that the drama and the cast are being properly recognized, which of course makes me very happy for the team.
oh and is there a way to tell if a show is doing well on Netflix?

Yep, most people want fast paced, drama packed stuff even if it makes little sense! haha
ALM is probably going to plummet in ratings if they keep going in the direction they've been hinting on. I really do think that the initial few episodes of that show were great but after around ep 6 mark, it started dwindling in its storytelling and started bringing in generic, overused tropes to make up for it. This is where OSN shines imo. The show doesn't need anything flashy (not saying flashy stuff is bad, I myself am a sucker for such things IF executed well), it's the rawness of OSN that makes it stand out. It is entertaining AND relatable. I have always loved the stories that seemed mundane but carried a deeper, emotional meaning within them and to me, OSN is one of those stories. I really am on my knees, begging the universe to not let ANYONE fck up this show.

Tbh I only started watching this show because I got bored waiting for Angel's last mission's new episodes...and…
Yeah I am well aware of the "curse" lol, one recent victim being *cough* He is Psychometric *cough*
I really do have my fingers crossed for OSN tho. I want it to blow me away like it had been doing so far. I hope that isn't too much to ask, writer-nim T.T

yeah i think that part is a little predictable. and the preview about the “erasing memory” is ticking me off.…
yeah, the first half was phenomenal and kept me hooked. The second half's story is looking kinda bland and recycled imo. Let's hope the storytelling regains its quality in the next episodes.

aw I am glad you have decided to watch it! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! I have my fingers crossed for the remaining episodes haha. Hope they won't fall in quality like what's happening with ALM:L

Preach. It's criminally underrated and makes me wonder about the fandom, tbh. It stomps everything I've seen in…
also, yeah even if the ending sucks, the drama will still have a special place in my heart.
They really need to do away with the current poster lmao

haha I have seen so many comments comparing OSN to SITR (cause they have the same writer) but I actually havent seen SITR so I cant judge it on that aspect. OSN is a gem for me nonetheless lol

I am glad that it's doing well in Korea. Most people don't really care for the whole "beauty in simplicity" thing. While all the flashy shows make for good entertainment, stories like this actually stay with you. There is no over the top dramatic scenes, everything feels fresh and realistic. They have managed to make me attached to the characters in such a short span of time, a feat that many of the recent dramas (with >8.5 ratings, I might add) have failed to achieve. I really wish more people appreciated the beauty of this show but oh well we can't force people to like it.

is it just me or was the latest episode totally predictable and not as enjoyable as the past episodes have been? Judging from the preview, it's not going to get any better. (erasing memory?? seriously??). I really hope it regains the spark and charm that it had earlier. This drama really has the potential so I hope it delivers well.

Tbh I only started watching this show because I got bored waiting for Angel's last mission's new episodes...and I regret doing that because this drama, One Spring Night, completely blew me away. I wasn't expecting it at all. Waiting for new episodes of OSN is much, much more painful than waiting for any other drama atm. The slow burn romance, A-class chemistry, simple yet beautiful story, heart-touching characters, relatable themes- all of these things make this show the beauty that it is. I love the subtlety that is embodied by this drama. Every glance, every interaction. every dialogue no matter how mundane, matters. You'll fall in love with the characters as they fall in love with each other. It will infuriate you, frustrate you but will also make you crave more of it every day. I find myself thinking of this drama at odd hours LOL. I haven't seen SITR so I cannot comment on that part but I will tell you to go into OSN with an open mind.
I'll be honest, once I started watching this drama, it completely shifted my focus from ALM:L. Before starting this one, I was thinking that ALM:L is the top airing drama but nope, the title belongs to One Spring Night. If it continues like this, Spring Night WILL become my favourite drama of 2019. Heck, it might even go on my top 3 favs of all time. I guess we'll just have to see. Anyway, I do recommend this one because even if it goes bad at the end, watching the characters fall in love with each other, their differences, their struggles, the precious moments will forever remain in your heart.

I'm already scheduling a rewatch after it ends (as long the remaining episodes don't suck lol)
Same. I'd be in the middle of an episode, all googly eyed, and think to myself "I need to rewatch this one ASAP". And I am like this during EVERY episode. So, I am just praying to the universe that the remaining episodes would be just as good so I can watch the show over and over and over again.

Title One Spring Night Spoiler
I was laughing and crying at the same time while watching Ji Ho's SUPER adorable reaction to Jeong In telling him "I love you".
Waiting every week for a couple episodes is torture T.T

If you have seen Healer then you would find A LOT of familiar faces in this drama. The kind mom from healer playing evil aunt, PMY's lovely dad playing corrupt investor, pretty news director playing Yeon So's butler etc. I am guessing it's because both the shows are directed by the same person. In any case, good to see those faces again.

Wouldn't be a kdrama without a childhood connection.
Except in this one, having a childhood connection actually makes sense xP
