the whole point of the show is to cherish the youth and think fondly of it, right? then why my girl heedo still living in the past, surrounding herself with things that would remind her of BYJ? The connection that our leads were shown to have, it's not that common y'all and IF you do end up connecting to someone like that, you hold onto it for dear life. Our leads barely even tried, one argument and it's over. Not how relationships work when you are THAT in love with someone, and it wasnt just romantic love, it was so much more. Knowing Heedo as we did, she would not have let go of it as easily as she did.
I definitely think this could have been wrapped up a million times better even with a bittersweet ending. Atleast show us adult heedo happy with her husband. She just looks sad and we don't even know anything about adult BYJ. Is he married? divorced? does he have kids? idk man...MESSY
He Doo's reason for their break was so out of character and completely bullshit. so you're telling me that Yurim and Jiwoong can survive a long distance relationship but our MLFL can't? LMAOOO I hate when shows go out of their way to make things tragic and sad just for the sake of being edgy. This breakup and their separation wasn't needed.
hee do broke up with him because of him not being present and then ended up marrying a man who is absent for months...make it make sense. Terrible ending
This is exactly when I thought she has been treating him as a booty call not as a rebound even. I remember you…
pretty sure the next few episodes will have hakyung making efforts to save their relationship as it's always been siwoo taking the first step, it's her turn now.
who all thought hakyung invited the dad along to call his bluff and didn't actually intend for him to visit Siwoo? Was legit surprised when I saw him on that plane seated between hakyung han kijoon lmao.
(the whole situation was very ooc for hakyung - being a smart, observant and assertive person, you'd think she would understand the vile intentions of the dad since the man has already had interaction with her that involved money, siwoo has told her he doesnt get along with his dad and on top of that he was yelling more about being compensated than about his son being hurt. Anyone with 2 braincells and half the info that hakyung had would have put 2 & 2 together. Dumbest moment in the show imo. Also, don't understand why she just stood there in the hospital room like that robert pattinson meme when siwoo verbally announced that he wanted his dad to leave. I wouldve thrown hands if i were in her place lmao nobody stresses out my man like that and leaves unharmed xD )
here's my 2 cents: park min young and song kang's chemistry has been severely under-utilized in this show. I completely understand the need to showcase a "mature" romance, have difficult conversations and discuss all the ways in which past trauma can impact present relationships but in my opinion, all of that could have been achieved WITHOUT cutting off all the said romance in the show. The entire reason why the two of our leads decided to get into a relationship was because they were sexually compatible and physically attracted to one another so it would have made sense to show SOME of that passion on-screen so that the viewers could understand their relationship dynamics better but alas we were just given the hard conversations without any of the supposed love that those conversations were based on.
i am glad they addressed the issue of JHK keeping LSW at a distance, we could FEEL her dating him in moderation and v happy that the reasoning was cleared out. (here's to hoping we can get off the angst train and board the romance ferry soon xD)
Is it not. There would have been so much fun hilarious scenes if that happened. Trying to sneak around, would…
yeah, exactly! there was so much potential in the "staying at the same house" plotline ugh. everytime they'd show them tossing and turning at night in their respective beds, i was hoping that ONE of them would go to the other one's room and idk...do cute couple-y stuff? but we didnt get anything :(
