There are so many flaws in this drama. It had all the ingredients to be a superstar show but nope, they really milked the entire hostage situation, gave us 6475 recycled versions of the same fucking conversation, pushed the female lead into a supporting role, made the ML lose at every fucking opportunity, gave us crumbs for romance, had almost negligible character development coupled with the most number of unlikable, annoying characters i have ever witnessed in a single kdrama AND on top of that we have that ending? yeah ok. If not for Jung Hae In (who carried the entire show btw), i would have dropped the drama u.u
what the fuck was that ending? I mean I saw it coming but seriously? after all the misery that LSH went through, it feels like such a cop out. I mean, my guy didnt have a single win throughout the whole show like wtf T.T
i thought the 207 girls would have more growth throughout the show and we would get to see some semblance of sisterhood and solidarity among the 4 of them but everyone except young ro just got reduced to utterly stupid, one-dimensional characters :( (and after their OTT reaction during the father-revelation scene, i have no hope for them)
For someone who lost her brother, (thinks she) lost her dad, got tricked by the man she loved, feels guilt over being partially responsible for the situation, found out her dad is a bad guy, got abandoned by her so-called friends, is a fucking hostage, I think Young-ro is being pretty strong. If i were her I would have dropped onto the nearest surface and never gotten up. Strength doesn't always manifest in loud fights and genius plans. The soft strength that EYR displays by merely getting up everyday and fucking trying to be helpful in whatever way she can is pretty iconic I think.
Bun Ok's stupidity is so astronomical that it makes me want to jump into the screen and strangle her. I understand that she is a product of her environment but honestly, so is everyone else but you don't see them acting like a fucking dick trying to screw everyone over. I get that her family situation is shitty and she needs money but that absolutely does not excuse her disgusting behaviour. She is cruel, apathetic and has zero braincells. She has been annoying since episode one and there has been zero growth in her character. What I don't understand is why the fuck is she allowed to roam freely in the dorm? She is a walking disaster, has betrayed the dorm folks one too many times and she's still allowed to do as she pleases? With zero fucking consequences? The dorm is huge and somehow she always manages to be at the "right place" and overhear the most vital information? Fucking tie her to a chair and knock her out? And no, she's not a tragic character. She lives in a jail that she has created for herself and other people do not need to suffer because of her miserable ass. You can be traumatized, desperate and still know how to be fucking human.
The hostage situation may be a mess but that doesn't stop me from drooling over a man as fine as Jung Hae In. My man be wearing the same black shirt for the past 8 eps and it gets me every. single. time.
Hi, I was wondering why in episode 1, the authorities didn't take Seung Young for testing as well? He had also come in contact with the infected so logically, he should have been taken along with Sae Beom. Do they explain this further into the show ? Please don't give any spoilers haha. Just mention if it is explained or if i missed something in the first episode.
