There is only 4 episodes left and the current conflict hasn't even been resolved so I doubt they're gonna pull out any other plotlines at this point. Frankly, when GS asked to meet Jeong In, I was hoping he'd say that he had come to his senses and would stop pestering her but nope, he hasn't learned anything.

Guess we don't have to worry about doormat FL in this one
Also, I don't think the dad in this show has much power. The only thing that is keeping his daughters from breaking away is their cultural upbringing and morals but if he continues to be such an asshole, they really will drop his ass.
Ah maybe someday when I am going through Jung Hae In drought, maybe then I'll watch SITR lol

Shout-out to all he feminists in South Korea. Shit must be wild.
It really is like that in SK. Sadly, women do not get treated with the same level of respect that men do. The patriarchal mindset is very much prevalent in their society so no wonder the dad thinks he owns the lives of his daughters.

i love Jae-In and Yeong-Je’s tandem ???? they’re the kind of friend/sibling that will have your back no matter…
I agree! Their scenes are so endearing and entertaining to watch. I love how free spirited Jae In is and how well it goes with Yeong Je's somewhat reserved personality. The secondary characters are all very lovable in this show (everyone except the Queasy Quartet).
Waiting another week for new episodes is going to be a torture T.T

It seems like Momma Lee is on her way to a divorce. I will stan her if she actually goes through with it. Can't say I feel bad for the dad. He deserves it.

Title One Spring Night Spoiler
I want to applaud Jeong In's resolve and determination. It is not easy being in her position. From an outsider's point of view, she is a successful woman who is in a long term relationship with an "amazing" guy. He is handsome, rich, and well mannered. Who wouldn't be in love with him? There is no reason for Jeong In to not be with the "good guy". They have been dating for years and the next step is to get married, duh. THIS is what her father thinks. He cannot even fathom the possibility of her falling out of love with the "awesome" dude. It not only subverts his archaic way of thinking but also poses a threat to his already dying career.

Jeong is being pressured to not only stay with the guy she has no interest in but also bear the responsibility of salvaging her dad's career. She is a fighter, so she will fight. I loved it when she was being real with Ji Ho by telling him that he is not going to get out of it unhurt. They know they will get hurt but they have decided that it is worth it. It's great that she has gathered a strong support system along the way ( Jae In's conversation with Eun Woo being one of the highlights) without which she might have crumbled by now. Gi Seok has taken such a major blow to his ego that he has become delusional. He is putting pressure on Jeong In from behind the scenes (meeting up with her dad, drunken convo with his dad). He really does not care about Jeong In but only wants to "defeat" Ji Ho. Imagine being pursued by a man who you spent years with and you know doesn't give a crap about you but only sees you as a desirable candidate for a Trophy Wife. Poor Jeong In.

Even after she gets out of the mess that the dads and douche created, she will still have personal, introspective struggles to deal with. That woman wasn't even ready to be married and now, if she chooses to stay with Ji Ho, she will have to bear the responsibility of being a mom. The line where Jeong In's friend mentioned her automatically being a mom to Eun Woo is when it really hit me. I really do hope she, along with Ji Ho, comes out strong.

Sorry for the essay lol, I just really love this drama xP

It's already been hinted that Jeong In will cut off her dad from her life if he continued to control her as he did with her elder sister. He is a really selfish man who doesn't know where to stop. I hope he gets a redemption arc.

I think the daughters are from previous relationships or adopted. That selfish man can’t be the biological father!
at this point, I just want the mom and girls to drop his sorry ass and kick him out of their lives. He is a father only in name. What kinda dad uses his child to get further in his career? smh

i’m really enjoying this drama but clearly the budget wasnt there considering the amount of product placement…
I don't get the lukewarm response towards the soundtrack. It really does nothing to dampen my experience of the drama, in fact it enhances it. It's not too distracting, fits the mood well and the lyrics go well with the situation. I can focus on what's happening on screen without getting lost in the music. The show has a pretty decent soundtrack imo.

lol Gi Seok has such a fragile ego. He is adamant on not admitting defeat to Ji Ho, and the sad thing is, he's not doing that because he is madly in love with Jeong In or anything like that but because he sees her as a trophy that he isn't prepared to lose. Good on Jeong in for not being swayed due to all the pressure that is being put on her.
With the way Jeong In's dad is wired, I wouldn't be surprised if he urged his eldest daughter to stay with her husband even after finding out about his abusive behaviour. The girls deserve a better father.

Yes, ML does tend to lack self steam-y scenes. Petition for shirtless Ji Ho!
OP fixed their mistake, that's why haha
