I don't think he even liked Jeong In anymore when they broke up, obviously he treat her like shit, now he just…
Yep. It's just a matter of his enormous ego.

is this actually good?? the plot seems really cliche but the rating is pretty high, plus theres jung hae in ehe
Oh most definitely. It's on its way to become my favourite drama of 2019. I know it seems cliche on the surface but the show actually manages to avoid a lot of cringe-worthy tropes giving us a top tier, socially conscious romance story.

This drama started out amazing, but then the story goes in circle & they soon fell as boring to mediocre to me,…
I'll just say that the drama was outstanding in its first half but it kind of lost its footing in the later episodes. The charm of the initial episodes is gone, sadly. It's definitely not the best drama of the year for me but I am still enjoying it.

It may not be such a big issue in the west but in Asian households it's a major obstacle when it comes to romantic relationships. I think OSN is being very faithful to the current issues in SK, I can understand the motivation behind each character's decision. Some people in the show have an ugly personality but I feel like those people are also very real in their representation.

This was shared from Boston2Seoul on the subjectBoston2Seoul 8 days agoYes, it is real. Here is an article about…
It's so sad how single parents have to suffer so much just because their one decision doesn't conform to the society's ideals. Ji Ho has commented several times on how people ostracize him because he a single dad and now it makes sense why GS thinks JH is inferior to him x.x
I just want a happy ending for Jeong In and Ji Ho T.T

Are young, single parents considered non-marriage material in SK, even today? And is the stigma worse for a male…
"Although attitudes toward single parenthood are shifting in Korea, there's still a stigma that can result in social isolation, negatively affecting not only the parent’s life but also the child’s. The shame associated with single parenthood has in the past led to many children of single mothers being abandoned and/or adopted overseas." This is what I read in an article. There's several other, reliable writings on this issue in SK. It seems to me that single moms have it worse but it isn't easy to be a single dad in Korea at all. After reading up on it, the reactions of people around JI and JH make a lot more sense. I really wish it didn't have to be like this :(

Title One Spring Night Spoiler
The funny thing is, back when GS & JI were still together, Gi Seok explicitly said that if Jeong In happens to fall in love with someone else, he'll let her go. I do think that he'd have let her go way more easily had it been someone other than Ji Ho. The fact that it's Ji Ho that Jeong In has fallen in love with, he can't digest it. He actually thinks his butting into their relationship is going to help Jeong In LOL. What a funny, delusional man. Let's see how long he's gonna keep petting his bruised ego.

Zero chemistry? We must not be watching the same show then xD
Cause for me, it's their hot, burning chemistry that was cooking between the two of them that kept me glued to my screen. The leads have one of the most cackling, sizzling, SOFT chemistries I've seen in recent dramas. But to each their own I guess lol

Yes!!! I can't remember the last time I fell this hard for secondary characters. They're all relatable, their interactions are fresh and they talk like normal people lol. Even the mundane conversations are fun to watch. Now, if only we got rid of the evil devils.

Ah haha well I definitely love the mom in this drama. She had great character development. She comes from the same time & age as the jerk dad, she's also conservative BUT she knows how to differentiate right from wrong and the way she stands behind her girls is commendable. I'd love it if she could get freed from the clutches of that stinky, good for nothing father.

LOL you must have been relieved that the mom is a decent one in OSN. Also, yeah I just see Jeong In's dad as a useless, shallow misogynistic man (the likes of whom are sadly too common in Asian households) who thinks he is still the one in power cause He. Is. A. Man.
Can't wait for the girls to show him his place. Gi Seok's dad is much more dangerous imo. I just want to protect my babies JI and JH from that creepy old man.
