Ep 12 I have to confess I love Sumin and Min Hwan, they are evil but they are riveting in their evilness! The scene in which Sumin stood up to her mother-in-law was so satisfying, and when she defended MinHwan using the same mother-in-law's patriarchal language, was hilarious. I wish they remain together. Maybe I am delulu but I think they have feelings for each other in their own twisted way. It looks like they are going to be upgrading their bad deeds courtesy of that crazy, arrogant, delusional, ex-fiancée. She is properly hideous so that may be too much even for me who likes them that much.
oh! you should watch "Mr Queen". He is an interesting, and conflicting character there (he is not male lead though)That…
Thank you for the recommendation, you are really selling this to me. I did not watch it because I don't like "gender bender" storylines. I like everything else: hetero, BL, LGBTQ+ storylines but not those gender benders
Ep 11 - what a beautiful performance by In Woo (ML), it was so moving. I did not know this actor before this series but now for sure will follow his career. Ep 11 belongs to him. Kudos to the makeup department because he was literally glowing in this ep and so handsome. They both portrayed the emotion of having the desire of their hearts fulfilled so well.
What a let-down the last 2 episodes. Everything was wrong about it. I confirmed I did not care for the main CP. Nothing they did had a justification, nothing was shiny and attractive. Their relationship was so negative that I really wished for Samuel to show some backbone and fall in love with somebody else. She was hideous at all levels. The storyline with the cleaning mate was unsavory, and although I was rooting for Samuel to find happiness elsewhere the way the cleaning mate treated herself allowing that awful relationship with her husband proved that she was not the right person for Samuel. I still felt so sorry when she got blackmailed by that crazy woman. I really liked ep 3 and 4 so I went to the finals episodes hoping for something good but it was even worse than I was expecting. This series was an unrewarding viewing indeed.
This is good, isn't it? Japanese BLs are hardly a disappointment. Additionally, is one of the few in which one of BL boys actually acknowledges himself as gay. The last one that I remember is Tokyo in April. I always think that this is a step in the right direction for Japanese BLs to align them more with the real world. The CP is lovely, and well-matched, and I am intrigued by the storyline. Looking forward to the next episodes
Who else is going to cry buckets if Yeo Hwa (FL) and Su Ho (ML) don't finish together? 😭🙋♀️ What a moving partnership they have. Great performances by our leads, particularly by Jong Won (ML) in ep 8, amazing . He so deserves lead roles. He is such a skillful and sensitive actor. Our secondary couple was so delightful in the scene of the fan. and on another character, I am expecting high morals from the apparently immoral returned "husband". I expect him not to take advantage and harm Yeo Hwa (FL).
What a beautiful BL this has been, with an interesting storyline, engaging in every episode, and well thought. This should make it to everybody's top list of BLs to watch and re-watch. Tae Vin performance was excellent, really showing that he was the experienced actor in that cast. Joo Wan ,his CP, although relatively new to the acting world plays this naïve love-struck boy very convincingly. A really endearing BL CP.
I watched this for Han Sohee and I absolutely loved it! Han Sohee is a brilliant actress, she portrayed Jiwoo…
I have watched this drama 3 times, while I totally respect your opinion, I would say that Jiwoo/Pildo relationship was one of the backbones of this series. Their relationship during the series was not romantic. Pildo is an important piece in uncovering the truth and his feelings towards her were not as potential lover but as a colleague that learned to trust her; and mainly as a projection of the love he has for his sister and his desire for justice for her. Additionally, Pildo was not always a "good cop", he had a very rough and dubious past, just like her. Their intimate scene in the last ep was not a romantic interlude but a raw expression of desire from two very tormented souls.
I loved So Hee and Bo Hyun on this too much. This rough and tormented work relationship and the romantic attraction they portrayed was deeply moving. Their sex scene it is engraved in my memory. The sensual raw emotion of two physically and mentally tortured lovers made such an impact on me. So Hee was so brave in this role both not afraid of not looking "attractive" and daring to bare all when needed. I said I liked it too much because it was so difficult to watch other works by them. Particularly, So Hee. The next thing I tried to watch with her was Nevertheless, what a mistake! Everything about it felt wrong, I hated her pairing with Song Kang, I so disliked the storyline. She thrives in action, brave emotional roles and I am so glad that we can see her back into that kind of territory in Gyeongseong Creature. She is doing brilliantly there. Regarding Bo Hyun I liked him in Military Prosecutor Doberman. I am follow both of them so hopefully good roles keep coming to them.
Yes, there could be a country restriction, however, most people I shared here that are in different countries can watch it there. I know it is different with Prime video. This series is def not available in my country of residence via Prime
Ep 9 - Finally!!! 100% rewarding watching. What a fab episode, I was cheerleading all the way for our FL 🤩🤩🤩 and to top up my favourite villain couple could not let me down, how they managed to be so hot in all situations!!! together and individually their scenes are master classes - Bravo to Yi Kyun and Ha Yoon, top actors! - In Woo performance is so moving, every one of his gesture provoke an emotion in me I just would like a bit more actual romance with our FL. I hope this happens soon
