The story suffered from erratic pacing, cramming too many plots that made it hard keep any interesting narrative.…
Where did you watch the "original version". I agree with the rest of your comments.

I knew from the reviews and ratings that this series was not the best but I wanted to watch it because of the ML In Woo and because it was based on an interesting part of Korean history, but this is neither a good historical drama nor a good romance drama. I am afraid to say that neither In Woo nor Kim So Hyun are convincing in their characters, though In Woo does a much better job as his character is more endearing. In Woo is an actor who has a good chemistry with all his CP but here even that does not work for me. It was awkward/cringy to see. In the end, I was only interested in the Herb Shop Owner, performed by Yoo Hwa. She is a great actor, I really cannot understand why she has not been more successful in the K acting scene. She is in Knight Flower and she shines there. Lots of chemistry with her CP, General Go. I have fast-forwarded lots because I could not stand the rhythm, the editing was messy and I wanted to see what happened in the end. So, the rating was fair. This is not more of a 7/10.

Hi, can any let me know if I have to watch the previous seasons in order to watch this one?
The indispensable viewing is the first season "Ossan Love" and it is a great series. The movie is like a bridge between the seasons but brings very few new elements. To watch it is advisable but not so important. Do not bother with the other ones as Maki is not even a character there.

Whatever this drama turns out to be, I hope it can highlight the challenges that people face in respect of mental…
I am concerned that in this kind of drama, they easily suggest that a case of depression can be sorted out by falling in love or having someone and we know this is not true. Some cases of depression are a serious imbalance in brain chemistry that are not sorted out by changes in external circumstances. Reactive depression is different, as it is a response to negative experiences, still we need to thread these cases carefully, they are not simply resolved by falling in love. Falling in love is an emotion that gives us a serotonin boost but normally the slump can be quite daunting for people with depression.

I had the same impression and I also like both of them. I think the script is letting them down. Also, the plotline is not original. We have watched other dramas with similar storylines. They deserve better.

I hate first episodes that spend the entire runtime getting to what the drama will actually be like, rushing us…
I feel relieved reading your comment. I am afraid I had to stop halfway through ep 2, it was more of the same, and as well the comedy very flat. A pity as I think the CP actors are great, they deserve a better script and a more original plot.

That can happen anywhere in the world
So sorry to hear this Jenny. It sounds awful. I hope things have improved since this case was unveiled.

That can happen anywhere in the world
No, it does not happen everywhere Jenny, I am sorry I have to disagree with you. I have moved between countries and work in different sectors and this not just happen. Management in most of the world is aware they cannot just assault an employee. Those cases are marginal nowadays in many countries. Gender discrimination yes, and other types of discrimination as well are still a problem, but not physical assault.

Ep 2 - Please anybody reassure me that in Korea your bosses do not physically assault you!, OMG how many dramas do we have with a terrible portrayal of physically abusive bosses? My cousin works in the pharmaceutical sector and had to work in Korea. She said at the beginning his male counterparts were unpleasant because of gender discrimination but she had a good talk with higher management and things improved, then she said it was good enough to work there. So many issues in this drama are so exaggerated: the high achievers' behaviour, the malpractice case, and now the medical employment sector. I wanted desperately to like it because I follow ML career I have watched his previous dramas and I really like his work. FL is great too but I cannot cope with the script. They are creating easy melodrama. Even if it is fiction, is it too much to keep it sensible? I think I stop here. I don't want to come here to rant, so let this be my last post on this.

You are alone on this
This person is not alone on this, look at the posts below, other people are making the same comment. I think the chemistry is fine, I like the ML actor very much and he is good at matching with his CPs in all his dramas, but the villain couple is superior here.

Ive already commented this so many times, but theyre not enough to express how much i ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVEE…
I am so glad too because if you are in MDL for a while you find there is such unnecessary hate thrown at either actors or a drama itself in other forums. There is no need. One can legit express a critical view of a drama but without nastiness and hate, and if I don't like an actor I simply don't watch his/her dramas, I don't come here to rant about them!
