There are myriads of opinion in the Chinese websites. I prefer to form my own opinion. This is why I actually watch series that I vote for and why my choice to give a chance to series vote just above the 7 mark and not just follow the MDL "trend". I have been told by MDL admins that it does make a difference to vote for each episode.

In fairness - this series is very good and should not be down voted like this. May I ask to those who are liking it to vote every episode with a high rate. It is the only way in MDL to lift a bit the rating. AI Introduction - it was a bit of a ridiculous excuse to put the series down because of this, considering that K dramas do it all the time!!! - this series has been released months after filming finished (the expected is 1 year to 1.5 years) . This was a production house decision, maybe because there are great ZLH series being release soon or because WCR was filming with the same director back to back. Now, with more time, the "proper" introduction is presented to the public. The feel of being a Chinese short series I like it so much, for me is an added bonus, as it is feel like a proper "soap-opera". The chemistry between the leads is great, they look astonishing together. ZLH and WCR are blessed with creating chemistry with their CPs. So don't pay attention to the rating and watch it. The times that I totally ignore the 7 plus rating vs the 8 plus rating in MDL I have great surprises. I think this series should be an 8.1.

Totally agree, all the crazy Pursuit of Jade followers are here. I watched Pursuit of Jade and I liked it, but I was not expecting any similarity at all. This is a Republican drama!!! a totally different production, why to compare them? It is stands on its own and I really like it, everything about it is what I expected.

Chu Ran is filming again with this director a highly anticipate drama - Tales of the Floating World. If she and/ or her agency would be unhappy with the director, they won't have accepted another drama.

Yes, it is like this. WCR is also a bit on the "keep your distance" side. So they look perfectly fine to me. I would say that ZLH is one of the "coldest" among the high traffic actors but he is not the only one. There is a group of them that really need to mind how they present themselves because of the hate.
