so far so good. I hate to admit, this really good. they played the role really well. Liyunrui, I saw him many…
I am so confused by the teasers and not sure if watching. So the FL has a romantic liaison - Chu Qiao character ? Who is? It looks is the 2ML? I thought, they won't focus in the romantic side, as the actress was a minor when filming (she turned 18 in July this year, but the filming start in December 2024, it was very much commented in Chinese social media). It does strike me the age gap if they are pairing him with Yun Rui, but ther other ML was 22 at the time of filming. so it is not that noticeable. I am a follower of Yun Rui since Parallel worlds and I think the young actress is really good as the rest of the cast. So nothing against any of them, just would like to know to be prepared before watching.
HELP I didn't even realize the FL was a minor before this...i knew she was young but a whole minor w yun rui??…
I promise to give you a certain answer. She was a minor when she was filming: Filming period: 2024-Dec-06 to 2025-Apr-20 https://wiki.d-addicts.com/Rebirth

She is now 18 years old. This was the period of filming: Filming period: 2024-Dec-06 to 2025-Apr-20 This is what we need to look at. She turned 17 years old in July 2024, so she was a minor. I read she was hired when she was 16.
I'll be happy if they did it, but i don't think Tencent will invest a big project with them.
Let's see. In c ent anything can change rapidly. At present Deng Kai is raising his profile quite fast he is in the cover of Madame Figaro who is only reserved to Top Tier actors. I am not sure about Snow Kong. she is popular because she was an idol, but more I don't know.
Can't see it. What is the name of that drama? Thank you.
Agree with you. He is exquisite as the villian but he himself is craving for a bit of sweetness in his roles. He said it in one interview with Snow Kong. by the way in that series with D Wang they are both baddies.
Never watched C-Drama before. Would you recommend Pursuit of Jade as the first C-Drama?
I actually would recommend this one as your first C Drama because it is very good and has a wide range of characters and three couples. A lighter one would be a New Life begins by the FL here. It is more a comedy but the ML is also really good there. There are lots, it all depends what you are looking for. China has also been famous for its bromances. If you like beautiful male leads one try The Untamed. The Spirealm has very good reputation too. I have not watched it myself.
I didn't think before that the age difference would bother me here, in many other dramas it didn't - but here…
I felt the same when I knew the casting, so I am not sure if the series is good that we can by pass that one, but if it is bothering you, probably would bother me too.
This has started with a low rate, is it because there are no many people voting or is just so so? Which role Davika has here? There was a controversy because the FL was a minor when she was filming a I think there is a romantic side to the character. I am considering watching it, but now I am not sure. I am waiting for somebody to enlighten me, thank you.
For those interested in following the career of Deng Kai and Snow Kong, apparently they are also a couple in the new series with Dylan Wang. This has not been said before, so lets wait and see: https://x.com/fangirl___feels/status/2042145079134175716?s=20
Creating a character - Qi Min - For all of you who are fascinated like me on how actors create a character, this…
There were many moments playing Qi Min that made my heart race. Like, when Qi Min finally drinks the bowl of poisoned soup fed to him by Yu Qianqian, I was completely immersed in the character, and my heartbeat was at its fastest. I truly felt a deep sorrow for Qi Min.
Creating a character - Qi Min - For all of you who are fascinated like me on how actors create a character, this is Deng Kai talking about it: "For me, taking on Qi Min was just like every other role I’ve auditioned for—I approach each character with the same level of seriousness. As long as an opportunity comes my way, I must seize it. So I prepare very thoroughly. I usually read the script 3, 1st for the plot, the 2nd to feel the character, and the 3rd to fully step into the role. Then I go over the lines, and once I understand everything, I start designing certain actions or habitual behaviors that the character would have" "Qi’s personal experiences are extremely intense, not something an ordinary person can truly relate to. So you can only try your best to start from the script and search for the character" https://x.com/fangirl___feels/status/2042077151852425614?s=20 (more in a spoiler)
I wonder. Is this drama rated by beginners or by romantics who love beauty and repetition? The first 25 episodes…
I could clearly see the shortcomings, and it was hard going from ep 30 onward, but rating a series is personal. For me a series that entertain me and moved me deserve a 10, as imperfect as it could be. There are other Chinese series that are rated very high and I fell sleep in the first episode. So I left no rating, because it would be unfair for those who decided to watch.
I honestly thought I’d move on after finishing it, but I keep finding myself going back. There’s something…
For me, there is a dreamy quality about it, particularly in the first part of the series. Such a sweet interactions between ZLH character and TXW (and her family!). I was not so convinced when Yu Qian Qian appeared in scene I thought it could create a triangle that I detest in fiction too, but no, on the contrary it "brought" Qi Min character with his overwhelming stage presence.
