My beautiful man was written but a lady who won a literary competition for another piece. It starts with a strange premise but it win you over. One of the lead even won an international award for this performance (the beautiful one). There was season 1 and 2 and also a film. It is only from 2 years ago.

Let's help making Kill to Love popular rating it high and sharing with friends about it. It would be a pity if people miss on this one. It is a masterpiece really.

Some of you may find helpful to cope with what is coming if I mention that this is a fictional account of real historical facts and figures. It represent the fall of the Southern Kingdom to the North that started a new dynasty. Shu He represent Li Yu the last ruler of the Southern Tang that was a small state in southern China. To the north, the Song dynasty was rising in power under Emperor Taizong of Song. In 975 CE, the Song army invaded. The Southern Kingdom was surrendered and Li Yu was taken to the Song capital where he lived under house arrest. I won't tell you in which circumstances but Li Yu died on the Qixi Festival (kind of Valentine's Day) He is remember as a tragic poet-king.
There is a very powerful phrase that Shu He said in the end of ep 8 when he was recriminating DZA for lying to him that goes like "You did not have enough with wanting the fall of the Southern Kingdom you also wanted to fill it with my heart and flesh". So beautiful too.

For me Kill to Love has "knocked me down" as I have not been "knocked down" since The Untamed. With the difference that TU was a long series and it was really upbeat and funny in most of the series. Kill to Love is so deep and the acting is so multi layer. It is piercing really. Because of this, I was watching other Chinese mainstream dramas and completely lost interest. They feel so bland in comparison sooo boring and repetitive. I am also watching Shine, not for the reason people watch Thai BLs, but because it is an historic LGBTQ+ storyline and it is very interesting to follow. they have excellent mainstream actors performing in a gay storyline for first time.

You know in Japan part of showbiz is linked to the Yakuza so It wouldn't surprise me actually 😂. On the other hand, people who are far from rich tend to believe that rich people cannot get there without dirty businesses. As I am not rich, I cannot give insight on that one. 😂 What we know is that , unfortunately, a lot of rich people has more money than sense, that we witness all the time.

I forgot to comment on this incident. No long ago K & E went with the Sister Nong to eat ice cream and they decided to leave the sisters behind and eat their ice cream outside. It looks they were in clingy mood and the saesangs has lot to say criticising them for "inapropriate behaviour" so to haters nothing would be alright. I am convince that E & K are avoiding to be seen together in public now. Like many other actors do.

I dropped RL in the 5 ep because I was not interested in the plot, but I will re take it at some point. I don't have that much time. Long ago I stopped watching Thai BLs, but I am watching now Shine it is such a good production. It is more a LGBTQ storyline than a BL. Additionally, there is the occasional Japanese BL that are so relaxing to watch.

There is not reason to believe DZA would force him. Nothing of the sort happen in the novel and I doubt they will include it in the live, but there is going to be lots of pulling and pushing, building lots of sexual tension. Let's remind that these two adored each other and were separated by political turmoil. It is said that great hatred comes from people who once love too much. I don't think Shu He would ever hate DZA but he is a proud prince of a dying kingdom. This is based on a true history DZA represent the founder of a new dynasty in China. It is a fictionalised account of his relationship with the South Kingdom that dissapeared.
