This drama started out so fresh and lovely. trolling kdrama stereotypes and mangas episode after episode and i was here for it. it was so funny seeing the cringe reactions of the characters who were aware of themselves, to the writers comic. If Goblin and W two worlds had a child lol this would be it. only thing i have to complain about is towards the 19th episode things got really redundant and the skip button was my reliable support system till the end. infact there was barely any character development. the writers were unable to keep up with the initial momentum the drama started with. i just wanted to see how it ends and lost interest. i ll talk about the important characters because i feel they played their roles well.
****IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE*****
1) Baek Kyung: To me he was the most important piece in this drama. and he really carried the show well, i didnt skip any of his scenes. although his character was the typical cliche douchebag, i could not blame him because that was how he was written and he just couldnt find his real self off the stage. i found him the most pitiful because he would always hear what he wanted from the FL on the stage and have them retracted few mins later after their scene. so heartbreaking because he really did like her. i wish the writer would have explain his character better given us backstory of his mum and all but they decided to fill the show with flashbacks. anyways, acting 10/10, storyline 9.5/10
2) Eun Dan Oh: would have been number one is she didnt keep saying haruya every single time..... in the begining she carried the show. she was literally kdrama fans watching a cliche rom comedy drama lol.... it was funny. her acting is so top notch.... she was talking to herself for the most part of the first few episodes and still got me hooked. her character started to get selfish when she was adamant on changing the story without caring for the repercussions and got clingy after she started dating haru. (ps i liked them together initially but after he disappeared and came back their chemistry was weird).acting 9.5/10, storyline 7.5/10
3) Haru: his character could have been developed more. i lost touch with him along the line and didnt care so much about his character anymore, skipped most of his scenes with dan oh towards the end. the story telling of their past could have been more in depth and climatic but it was the opposite. the mysery around his character ws supposed to be the big reveal but it didnt just cut it. acting 8/10, storyline 7/10
4) Dried squid fairy: i loved the mystery behind his character and how he was aware of the present and the past. like others his big reveal of the past was also anti climatic. acting 8/10, storyline 7/10
5)oh nam joo, joo da, lee do hwa: the writers main love triangle.... cute but became redundant. i liked joo da's character development in the drama and respect her for not playing both guys and standing up to the bullies.
6)baek kyung's brother: a mystery character and a waste of opportunity to develop this story better. i expected more back story to his character but it was anticlimactic for me.

conclusion: after the 15th episode i think, there was no wow moment for me.... i struggled to finish and all the reveals were anticlimactic and predictable. whole thing could have been summarized in 10 episodes.....

My feelings for this drama is mixed but all in a good way sometimes i was laughing mao and most times i was crying real tears (i didnt expect to cry this much in this drama and i think tearjerker should be in the tags lol). this drama reminds me of romantic doctor kim in the sense that Dr cha was very talented like Dr kim (in RDK) and his juniors wanted to learn from him and depended on his diagnosis lol. the romantic relationship is very similar to the one in Doctors. (teacher-student,age gap, hospital romance) but the chemistry of the leads omg!!!!! it felt so mature with a lot of sexual tension lol....

Dr cha is really charismatic and oozes sexiness without trying. he was so much fun to watch. And i cant really think of any other actor that would have fit this role.... his acting was really perfect and he deserves some awards for this.

Se young chased after dr cha first but it wasnt cringey puppy eyed love at all. i really loved her character and cried with her every "tear" of the way (lol).

Her sister was annoying at first but it was understandable why... her character growth was one of the best in the drama.

Their mum the director was quite an interesting character.... she loves her daughters but is very strict with them and doesnt try to over familiarize with them at work. the girls are more comfortable around their dr aunt who is more jovial with them.

Dr Lee is literally a clown.... he made up the comedic part of the show alongside the other two male residents and the nurses in their team. (and i may be tripping but he looks so much like goblin imo)

weird nurse; i had a hard time understanding her transfer of aggression to dr cha..... or her relationship to the prosecutor... were they married or just friends because their kids were victims. As for the prosecutor i m pretty sure stalking dr cha was illegal or something. his redemption was satisfying though.

i could feel all the emotions of all the actors, the stories of the patients really touched me.... especially the CIPA boy. i learnt a couple of medical stuffs lol.

the music was beautiful, even the english pop songs played i the bar were so nice and up to date.

i started watching this drama with no expectations at all but i needed something to pass time and it seems like theres a drought of good kdramas. This drama crawled all the way to the best dramas i have watched this year alongside sky castle. This drama reminds me a lot of because its my first life although they tackle different issues but these two dramas gave me reality checks about life and i learnt life lessons. looking at the tags one would think its cliche but this is cliche done right! sometimes i wished some cliche moves will save the day but no, this drama seems like real life. i was smiling and awwwwwwn-ing this whole drama and when i wasn't, i was crying my eyes out. the acting was so superb i could relate to all of these characters. i could see myself doing making the same decisions they made. The topics tackled by this drama are a lot i couldnt keep count, there is divorce, pregnancy, entrepreneurship, relationships, family, friendship, remarriage, parenting, dealing with failure, ill health, death, rejection, communication, studying, step parenting, etc. Its good to add there is no bad person in this dram but the characters will keep you glued to the screen till the end. i didnt skip parts as i usually would in long dramas. i will definitely watch this drama again! it has secured a place in my heart!

CAST
**Yan mo** - He wasn't the typical cold male lead i am used to. he is very calm. way to calm to a fault but he is also caring and romantic (in his own way). i laughed a lot at his cluelessness and reactions to many situations. i like that his character was consistent the whole drama. there was no sudden change from cold guy to puppy lover that happens in other dramas. although he is very smart and logical he lacks communication skills and cannot really express how he feels inside.
**Zhao Qiao Yi**- she was slow and not book smart but she wasn't weak. i appreciate not having to see the puppy eye love thats very common with cdrama female leads. i like that she was able to solve some problems on her own. her relationship with her best friend, twin brother and parents have a lot to teach.
**Zhao Guan Chao**- He was my favourite character in this. had a playboy attitude but very kind hearted and loving. has the best sibling relationship i ve ever seen with Qiao yi. he is quick to protect and sacrifice for her. I love how vulnerable he was to real love and his reactions to situations.
**Hao Wu Yi**- Her relationship with her mother taught me a lot. and her character development was amazing. you will sense progressive growth in her character from high school all the way to the end.
**Fei Da Chuan** - he had the least character development to me but it wasnt that bad. i was hoping for him to drop some of his attics from high school as he was now in the cooperate world but he just couldnt lol.
**Alicia** -- Alicia is a girl i would have loved to hate but she redeemed herself gracefully and i started rooting for her.
**Qiao parents**-- brought a lot of comedy to this show. the support for their children was top notch. and although he was their step father he really step into the role so well you couldnt tell. meanwhile their real father is an ***.
**yan mo's mum**-- typical rich mum but was so sweet and understanding. she married early and took up her career instead of spending time with her son and its one of her regrets.
**Gao Fei **-- another of my favourite characters. he is a good example of how teachers should care for their students outside studying. i had my note pad ready everytime they visited him to take down notes because he spoke a lot of wisdom. Also prof Li had said some wise words i will never forget.

dont believe the reviews this drama is really good and very much worth watching

The negative comments made me want to put off watching this drama but i decided to take a bold step and wowwwwwwww!!!!!! did we all watch the same drama! this drama is great (not perfect of course). it has a different refreshing story and i was glued to the screen especially from somewhere in the middle. the cinematography is great and everything is just so beautiful. ps don't come looking for a full blown romance i guess thats why people might be disappointed because the romance feels disconnected sometimes. The mystery about the time travel, doppelganger, the suspense, crime, the plot twists..... are the main selling points of this drama for me. sometimes i was confused like what is going on lol but in the end it all makes sense. so bottom line.... try it out for yourself, dont have your expectations too high, hang in through the confusion from the beginning till about episode 7 and episode 14 lol and you will really enjoy this.
my questions though
1) was i the only one curious about na ri like how was she rich with all those cool cars lol?
2) they really should have helped us understand how the kings great grandfather did his travel movement in order to get the head court grandma to corea?
3) did they conclude that the yoyo boy was a god or was he just stuck in the time lines?
4)what was the whole situation with the prime minister koo... her arc was weird and useless to be honest. when her momma couldnt remember what she ate what happened to her next?
5)they really should have scrapped some romance scenes and given the time travel arc more screen tie
6)eun sop and na ri deserved better in terms of their romance development

I ve Loved action/romance dramas since city hunter and healer blew my mind so I didn’t hesitate to watch this. I enjoyed the story line , so much plotting and suspense and mystery . I also enjoyed their family-mance. Their friendships were really cool, looking out for each other. I also loved how rational the police team was, they looked at all the angles which is really rare and impressive.
What I don’t like
*FLASHBACKS!!! The flash backs had me going crazy. If they excluded the flashbacks they could have saved like 5 episodes.
*nosey people. Their friendships were cool but in the real world police missions and investigations shouldn’t be intertwined with civilians. They were just all over the place trying to save each other. It was weird.
*the romance. Started out really well but somewhere in the middle it felt forced/cringey and there was no chemistry. I found myself rooting for the 2nd male lead instead.
*the last episode “incident” could have been avoided. That person did not deserve to go that way.
*the ending was a “ok what just happened” moment. It made no sense at all.

In conclusion although there was so many unnecessary dragging scenes in the middle. This was an enjoyable and unpredictable drama. Give a try and keep the skip button near!

I really didn’t know what to expect from the season 2 because the ML and FL weren’t going to be the same but I turned in anyway for Kim Sabo and I really loved it. I loved the side stories of the patient and I love they incorporated rape, domestic abuse, family sucide etc. Those stories made me cry a lot. The hospital staff relationship is gold... GOLD I tell you! And they way they recruit ppl into their family of love has me awwwwwwwwwwning. Lol I was calling for mr koo sometimes before nurse oh to take the bad guys away hahahaha. The character development was really amazing here just like in the first season. Just send all the broken, doctors to master Kim and he will fix them all!

Ps: I found the story of dr shim very interesting I wish we could have learnt more about her, her divorce and her kid.... she was mysterious... not bad but not necessarily good.

Ps2: I liked dr bae lol. The fact that his father is who he is and dr bae is just a puppy dr is so cute.

PS3: the ml and fl in this drama weren’t as mature as the ones in the season one but we got our signature steamy kiss anyway lol. I like the ml dark past he really had it rough and finally got a father in master Kim.

I ll miss the originals and the additionalS to Dolnam hospital.
