This is another older woman/younger man drama that falls flat at the end! The drama’s best part was the sisterhood relationship between Xun Xun and her best friend Zhou Quan; it’s really nice and endearing. The part of the synopsis about working hard to get custody of her child is not even one of the premises of the drama since the issue is put on the back burner and there is no resolution to it. The show is about Xun Xun becoming Cheng Li’s lover and supporter that eventually becomes the way that he gets healed from his childhood trauma. Their relationship started out with a potentially good romantic story but it went flat when Xun Xun decided that marriage was not an option for her. The biggest issue is that the story doesn’t resolve the lack of trust that Xun Xun has about Cheng Li’s love and level of maturity to want to establish a family with her. The story makes it almost a comedic and cute plot as he’s left waiting for her to decide when she would be ready for marriage ever again since it seems that a 23 year old man, who seems mature enough to make good and firm decisions throughout the drama, is not mature enough for marriage. It’s really disappointing when an older woman gets into a relationship with a younger man and the resolution is: sit and wait for me! How about people reaching their goals together? Vagabond is a drama about government corruption and conspiracies that starts to unravel after a plane crash. The drama is packed with action and it has great cinematography and music. The actions scenes are very well choreographed and realistic. Although the main leads get closer and it is obvious that they developed romantic feelings, there’s no romance. All the main and supporting cast was great bringing their characters to life and the plot was consistent with the conspiracies that abound. The overall acting by the grieving families was fantastic and makes the viewer feel the pain and frustration as they navigate and participate in the process of finding the truth about the plane crash. The drama could’ve had a rating of 10 if it would not have been that it ended with a cliffhanger that gives the impression that there will be a second season. This is a very entertaining drama. It is good that Season 1 and 2 are out since it offers a continuation that will truly bring all kind of emotions out. This drama has a really cute and light romance with comedic parts and some heart tugging scenes. Although it is not a “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” production, the drama offers enough entertaining and has a great feel. Even though the romantic scenes weren't anything special, the two main leads had really good chemistry, were fun to watch, and were true to each other. Luo Fei Fei, Bei Tang Yi, Bei Tang Tang, Xie Yan Ran, Chu Shang Nan, and Bai Wu Chen held this drama together and their interactions were enhanced by a great display of emotions and sincerity toward each other. The OST harmonizes very well with the corresponding scenes improving its qualities. The fantasy time travel theme paired with the zodiac element and its unique powers made for a well developed plot throughout the series shaping this drama into an engaging and enjoyable story to watch. Ping Ai Yi Jiang Ta Si You (2025) is a great romance miniseries adapted from the web novel "Bo Li Yan" by Mei Lu Bi Bi with Zhao Zhendong (as Lou Chong) and Zhai Yiying (as Li Xing) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple had a fantastic romantic chemistry. This drama is well written and the male lead is surrounded by rumors, mystery, and misunderstandings that kept the viewer holding its breath in many occasions. Lou Chong has an enigmatic aura and oozes sensuality while Li Xing can’t help but to fall in love with him as he breaks through her emotional and physical impotence and, above all, as she resisted him. Seeing the leading couple’s romance developed beautifully through their willingness to love, trust each other, and talk openly and sincerely to each other is breathtaking. This drama is a GREAT historical production that should not have been titled “Love Like The Galaxy” because their love was not only slow burned, but also full of secrets, lack of confidence, misunderstandings, and, the most tedious part of this drama, Shao Shang’s cold attitude and distrust toward Zi Sheng. How a great love cannot understand Zi Sheng’s emotional pain, turmoil, and commitment?Having said that, Zhao Lusi (Shao Shang) and Leo Wu (Zi Sheng) did an excellent job portraying their characters and, although their romantic chemistry was not very amorous, the best intimate interaction in the whole drama happened without an unnecessary awkward kiss in episode 36, really beautiful and heartwarming! The rest of the cast also did a wonderful job bringing their characters to life.
This drama is heavy on revenge plots, palace antics, familial interactions, truehearted friendship, occasional comedic scenes to lighten the darker tones, great action scenes, and amazing cinematography and music.
Overall, this is a magnificent drama that is worth watching. Enjoy it!

Wen Rou Ye Gu (2025), also known as: Gentle Wild Bones. is a great romance miniseries with Wang Chen Peng (as Jian Yu Chen) and Zhai Xin Ran (as Wen Ni). The plot is well developed and the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life. Jian Yu Chen has been in love with Wen Ni since high school and he jumps at the opportunity to marry her when she proposed a contract marriage, but it becomes obvious that they are much more than that for each other. As the miniseries started, they have been secretly married for three years and they have a great team and romantic chemistry but, in the eyes of others, they are just bickering friends and business partners. As the story progresses and misunderstanding are cleared, their relationship becomes stronger and they are both very much in love with each other. This is a great fun, passionate, and beautiful love story!
