I do agreed. We are so far seeing from FL’s POV. I am keen to see what is behind his motivation. I do think he is a grey character and also has some trauma yet to uncover.

So Shen Hao Ming chooses Xu Yan, because he feels she is a safe choice, as she needs to depend on him and is obedient, he knew her secrets and thought she is ambitious so she will never leave him. This man is so wrong, did he even ever know love?

Hahahah…I switched off logic for mini dramas. It’s like peanuts on table, taking it just waiting for other main dishes to come on board;).

I was late for this as I put it on hold after 4 episodes as felt so painful to watch. Then picked it up and finished it. The sad and injustice scenes were still unbearable to watch. But overall it’s very tight script, well acted, kudos to both main leads and the actors that acted as their children too. Fantastic script! This is the second intense drama by Zhou YiRan that I watched, first was Reborn and now this. He really picked very good script. This is also the second drama I watched with Wang YinLu as FL, she is so versatile, great potential.
Honestly with a good ending here, I still feel the pain that they have gone through. I need some happy Rom Com to heal😓.
