Your observation is spot on. In this drama, they just didn’t show TSJ’s wits and strength but instead just make him a forever worshipper to XY. The messed up of re-scripting by author for this drama. I feel that in this drama, the author wanted the focus more on CX and XY.

Yup, now I can conclude that this story interpreted here is definitely about XY, who has ‘Lost You (XL) Forever’ without even knowing the ultimate truth, so she gets her happiness and happily with a guy who will worship her the rest of her life.

I am done with all ep. Although I expected the events, but it’s still so sad and depressing for XL. I am going to be grieving for a few days😭. I can totally understand why this drama has change some parts of the script, everyone now has a closure except XL.!!! Sigh. I am still emotional, and will never be okay with XiaoYao not knowing.
