Did LQ actually succeed to turn to human and lost all his powers? Will he become powerful again?
In the novel, it’s a slightly different motivation and trajectory for ML, which he ultimately chooses to be a full complete War Ghost Demon to protect (very much like moonlit reunion characters, if you watch that). I like the change in drama script, makes it even more complex.
I don't get why everybody is upset with A Sheng. Her possessive behaviour towards Mei is totally consequential…
💯 agreed. I like her character. A Sheng is a survivor and she definitely carries the evil gene in her yet she learnt and chooses to protect instead of destroy.

Spot on about that…childhood trauma, dysfunctional parenting…that’s the typical classic trope. But as portrayed in Xia Xuan Zhi sect, evil father leads to all evil children too. lol!
I can’t help but noticed in this show, Allen Ren’s LQQ often has a head angle of 60 degree or the director will always take camera shots of him in that head angle😅😅😅 Why? My guess is to show the weight on this character’s shoulders???
