it was a revenge plot but he was won over by the queen who suggested that she was interested in destroying gugoryeo and building a new kingdom. in the end, she had them exactly where she needed them to be, it looked so effortless but very calculative.

perhaps I relate more to it since I'm one of such person who's emotions are always bottled up and only release under intense pressure or necessity. It's kinda hard to tell what I feel unless I let it. I felt Ml was that typa person. FL situation is also understandable as she can't exactly admit to herself that she liked "her brother" romantically, much less to anyone else. She could also cry if ML is hurt because she had some level of affection for him(being Hong rang) so that even though she perceived he was an imposter,she can't help but subconsciously have a soft spot for him. She is after all to love him as she did Hongrang until she didn't.

I assure you that you won't hate it even if you end up not loving it.
