I want to applaud Bai Lu. I had never been a fan prior to this drama but after watching countless dramas with A list actresses, I have really come to respect her as she truly gives her ALL. Like, she lives and breathes her character...I never once get the feeling that she holds back or tries to look pretty or is self conscious. It is VERY rare for an asian actress to come across that way in dramas (Ni Ni and Zhang Ziyi are smilar). She truly kisses her partners, genuinly shows emotions and passion. I feel the despair and desire and it is so refreshing as a viewer as it makes the romance so much more credible (rather than the ML having to do all the flirting).

She is not the only one - I 100% agree with her.

I feel the same too - this is a hard role to play as you can easily make things cringe. I don't think the actor has the range needed to pull off this type of role.

Let’s be honest, he is not particularly a good actor (limited range when it comes to emoting). Never been but somehow manages to get these very high profile roles. The FL is definitely carrying the drama on her shoulders.

Yes exactly - I noticed that the less famous actors really give their all to build romantic tension unlike most A list actors.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW this drama and the leads are on FIRE. A+++. A list actors need to take note - this is how you act and potray romantic, lust and s** tension. The FL is superb.

This is way better that I had expected. The ML is really charismatic and a good actor, and the FL doesn't irk me like she typically does in her other dramas - she is doing a goog job. And their chemistry is really good - quite natural. Really looking forward to the next episodes.
