It's still not right as the FL is now wanting to make amends and be fair but is being hypocritical about MY wanting revenge. I love my brother but would absolutely not defend him if he did what his brother did. Doesn't matter if he loved his sister, he was still absolute trash with all other women. Even the two MLs who are more powerful don't behave like this.

I absolutely loathe the FL's parents. They are the absolute worst and the worst part is that a lot of modern Asian parents are like this. Strict with the girls and always blaming them for the faults of the boys. I think his brother deserved to die - he was a human trafficker and ra***. He literally pimped his concubine and some of you feel sorry for him?! I understand why the other FL wanted to get him killed, I agreed with her and was shocked that the FL kept on defending him.

Not sure why you'd think so, nothing indicates this. The main poster is her and the Lord in a loving pose - I've honestly never seen a drama showcasing a couple as leads on a poster and not letting them end up together. And the brief scene in ep 14 where she can hear the Lord speaking to her is foreshadowing. They are dropping hints (just like in the drama Love better than Immortality).

Could someone please recommend a similar (romance heavy) historical drama with the same type of love triangle (and the FL ends up with the ML she didn’t initially liked)? I love love angsty dramas with happy ending. Thank you ;)

AMAZING. That type of love tension and build up is my absolute favourite. Hope she doesn't love the bodyguard

It started off soooooo well and then became cheesy. Why!! I had hoped for the ML to be smarter and for the FL to maintain her serious voice tone (and not switch to baby voice).

He knows they had a whole conversation about it. That’s why he is so moved by her, he knows that what she did for him was her real self.

They had a past life together that they can’t remember, the animal one, the mortal one, the present one (immortal) so I don’t think they will detail too many more lives.

Both leads honestly did a great job. They have amazing chemistry and I like how gradually the angst is building up.

I don't get the harsh criticism and endless comparisons with LBFAD. To me the FL may not be the best out there, but she is still less cringe than the FL in LBFAD (so how ironic when people say she has a baby voice). And the ML is also a better actor (but Dylan has a loyal fanbase so he is always hyped), so I don't understand the outrage. Most FL in C dramas aren't particularly Oscar worthy and are mostly hired for their looks, let's be real here. The FL is not that unbearable and I think they have really good chemistry. Like the drama so far.

Exactly!! But maybe the ending of the drama will totally shock us and be very different from the novel (someone above said that). The promotions seem to indicate that Jing will be her main lead but the way the writers are building chemistry with the two other leads make me reconsider things.

Ohhh really! If that's the case maybe there's a chance that the FL doesn't end up with Jing then?

Firstly, calm down. Secondly, I have no interest in reading the novel and thus base MY opinion on what I’ve watched so far. I find him weak, boring and just not worthy of a woman like the FL.

Agree and the drama makes him look particularly weak and pitiful, which typically indicates that he won't get the girl. I don't think I've ever seen such a weak character get the FL.

The FL and Jing have nothing in common. They would have honestly not even connected had she not saved him. And they have zero chemistry. I can totally see why XL would be considered to be her soulmate. They are bonding on a personal/deep level - not because one saved or pitied the other.
