maybe the comedy is about the ML incredible luck and all the 'weird' stuff happening around him that assisted…
Fair enough! I think I briefly laughed once through the 5 eps I saw, so (for me) the comedy genre flopped. Though, obviously what's funny to one person gets no reaction from another, so if you found it funny then the jokes worked on you. :)
Makes sense! That man was walking D-E-V-O-T-I-O-N with a heart of gold.
EASILY it would be the top 6 from this list: Crash Landing on You and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo are both in my all-time favorite dramas. (Both have AMAZING ML's) Extraordinary Attorney Woo has the greenest of green flag MLs. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon has an ML that is shooting hearts out of his eyes for the FL throughout the entire show! <3 Alchemy of Souls has a sweet puppydog ML in S1 (not Season 2) Business Proposal has a textbook "falls in love first and does the chasing" ML.
I have to agree with the majority of commenters... the first half was DEFINITELY better than the second half. After Roh Bin and Song Chon were added to the plot the show lost me. *shrugs* Also, IMO this drama has zero comedy so... idk about that genre lol.
This movie is fine as a cutesy high school romance (not great not terrible), but why do they keep having people call the FL ugly?!?! I'm assuming it's a plot point from the original manga, but come on don't cast a pretty girl and then have her peers blast her as ugly!! :( Even if looks are subjective, she's obviously a conventionally attractive young woman. *rolls eyes*
*not saying anyone deserves to be called ugly, but this would be like casting Chris Hemsworth and then people calling him a frail loser.*
So I read an article title and thought that it was 100%. I edited out the confirmed part because apparently there's some discrepancies surrounding equal billing. So it's not confirmed, though I still would LOVE this pairing, lol. xD
So from what I understood, the show and the movie are the EXACT same thing. I personally chose to watch the movie version, however, if you do watch the movie version I recommend going to last 2 minutes of every episode in the drama version because there's a REALLY REALLY cute simulation game with the leads as the characters. It's like it's own mini-drama, heheh. :)
I didn't think it was possible considering I've been watching dramas on and off for YEARS now, but your article is filled with drama recs that I'd never even heard of before! I even added a few that caught my eye to my PTW list. What a fun article, thanks! :)
OMG why is this so flipping cute?!??! And why didn't I watch this earlier!!!?! The microexpressions by both leads but ESPECIALLY by Kurosawa are FUCKING SENDING ME AGHHHHH!!!
TL;DR: No, This show is not worth watching! Watching paint dry sounds like a more enjoyable use of time. This is coming from someone that gave this show a legitimate chance (8 episodes) and ended up VERY VERY disappointed.
he’s is also borderline stalker but yes it was another era… I’m still laughing after rewatching it
Haha I had the same reaction when I rewatched 2-ish years ago! I was like wait... this is not okay why is he so boorish to her?! Some parts are just classic, but others just made me want to curse out the ML. xD
