The first half was definitely better than the second half. I had a similar experience to one of the top reviews where I went from "Whaaat? 30 minutes per ep isn't enough!" to "why is this 45 minute episode moving by so slow??" Still an okay watch, but by no means a 10/10. With such an interesting premise it could've for sure been better than what it was. (IMO)
This is the hardest one to accept that we'll never get to see. The trailer looked SO GOOD. UGH. Selfishly, I really wanted to see it with Allen & Ni Ni, which for sure is impossible... :'(
HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt it'll be similar beyond the car racing + stepsiblings aspect. China would NEVER let all those mature scenes pass censorship, lol. (Not that I'm complaining because I felt like CM was all sex & no plot, lol)
This season really feels like the showrunners said 'How can we get 2 seasons out of this?'
10/10 agreed. Season 1 was superior. This season’s editing for the infinite amount of conflicts + choppy resolutions aren’t fun either. (From what I’ve seen thus far they definitely could’ve compressed this whole thing into one 40 ep show.)
The FL's mom's story came out of nowhere and makes ZERO sense. IDK if it's actually following a plotpoint from the novel, but the way it was randomly brought up and caused tension gave me whiplash.
I'm 20 episodes in. Honestly, the first 2 episodes didn't wow me but starting with a really big event in Ep 3 the story picks up and stays steady. Still worth checking out and IMO give it until ep 3-4 to make up your mind. :)
That's right around where I would've dropped too. I basically watched the last 8 eps by skipping around. It got SO BORING. I mean I like fluffy kiss scenes as much as the next person, but mixed in with actual plot! Nothing happened and they'd kiss all the time for the last 1/3 of the drama. Yawn.
This story should've been at least 5-8 episodes shorter (IMO). There wasn't enough plot to keep things engaging after the leads got together. It went from adorable to forcing myself to finish because I was bored as hell real quick. Shame too because it was a solid 9 for 2/3 of the way.
I used to be so crazy about culpa mía because of the chemistry but the 2nd part ruined everything 👹 this drama…
As far as fights & car races go, seeing that shouldn’t be difficult in a CDrama. It’s the explicit bed scenes that wouldn’t make it past censors, lol. (literally the only thing I remember from the 45 min worth of CT lol).

I don't even think I made it that far to see him kiss someone else in Culpa Tuya lmao! The ML (both the actor & his character) were majorly off-putting. I know there's a third part as well, but obvi I won't be checking it out either having stopped midway through the 2nd one. There's zero chance that S&L would be like CM. And typically Esther chooses solid dramas, so I'm hopeful with this one! (outside of the car racing/parents marrying each other plotline lol)

Thanks for letting me know!

Lmao I'm actually giddy. xD
Thank God that it'll be nowhere near as toxic, lmao.
