You're right I just hadn't updated this list. The ones airing have been changed. Plus Riverside Code was removed. :) (Also, I don't really keep track of distribution licenses anymore cuz airing isn't guaranteed)
Can someone just fully spoil me on the outcome for the villains? As in what happens to the ex husband? The stepmom? And the psycho princess? Also, do the Jiang family find out about the FL’s true identity?
thank you for assembling the list i always wondered how many kdramas/movies are made a year so the number is 250/300ish…
No worries! I agree with you that the 250/300 number is surprising. Though, with successful projects like Squid Games (for Netflix) and Moving (for Disney+) streaming services/international appeal has bumped up the number of big budget shows with top stars considerably. Besides, as someone that watches more Asian shows/movies than western, I'm not complaining lol. xD
Dramas like When the Phone Rings are why I wait for a show to be completed regardless of hype. This one just seemed too interesting to hold off on, so imagine my extreme disappointment with that braindead ending that turned a solid 8.5-9/10 drama into a straight up 2/10. I averaged it out to 5.5, but like wtf was with Argon and "I have to punish myself". 🤡
*even without the alleged (because I've read that it might've been mistranslated?) Zionism, the ending was a steaming pile of dog poop*
They did cut her scenes and gave her a weird sending off mid-way through the drama that didn't make a lot of sense,…
I used the term female lead loosely, lol. I have no idea if she was a support role just for that "mission" or if she'll stick around as the two guys' female counterpart in S2 as well. Either way, same here I had hearts shooting out my eyes alongside her arrows. xD
If you are looking for a love story/regular C-drama love story you'll be disappointed..This is a realistic story…
I don't mind that romance isn't at the forefront of the show. I just wanted to see if that's something worth sticking around for because the slave to saleswoman plot wasn't really striking my fancy.
I think so. Episodes 10-20 is where the romance arc really builds and a lot happens here. The chemistry is great…
Appreciate your response, obviously it appears the appeal of this show differs somewhat for me than you. I wanted to continue since I liked the leads (actor-wise) but was unsure due to pacing. As you said, I'll give it a couple more eps to hopefully pick up the pace, especially considering what you mentioned about the romance!

The show's not bad or anything, but real life commitments basically mean I'll have to drop/put on hold for a while...
