I know we're not team Sang U around here, but I'm wondering why did he never confess to HJ? She mentiones never…
My guess is she was quiet and shy and he was a combination of shy and careful with her. He was nice to her, they formed a friendship but she couldn't see that it was more and he didn't get the chance to tell her before she was forced into marriage and had to disappear.
After that car ride he already suspects something lol
I don't think so, because we see him at the hospital with HJ as BS is being taken in. And his voice -over saying to HJ "he was trying to proect you." They're playing with us by making him appear so ambiguous, imo. I think he's one of the good guys.
Theory: The ML's mother, wife of the wannabe president, is the mastermind behind it all.
Evidence: 1) she never got over abandoning her real son. Mopes over him. Promises to protect him on TV. Spit wine on he FIL's picture during that party, showing she hates him.
2) She was on her phone at the skeet-shooting place and didn't want the FL's mom to see what she was doing on it. The next scene cuts away to the kidnapper with dual-colored eyes texting with his "master".
Though things don't line up perfectly. Because if she's texting him and can contact him, why is she sending him messages on TV? I dont' know...
is there some significance to the fl wearing or not wearing kitten heel slippers? i think i saw a comment here or on a youtube short about it but i rewatched all the eps and still dont know what im missing?
Are the ML and the reporter twin brothers? Does the ML give up politics once his identity comes to light? Who is the ML really? How does the story end????
She's not annoying IMHO. She really did get kidnapped and then uses the kidnappers phone to try and manipulate…
She's not mute. Her mother forced her to pretend that a car accident caused traumatic mutism and stop speaking since she's been about 8 years old. No one knows that she can speak. She never speaks to anyone, not even to her awful mother. But eventually her husband realizes that she can talk and gets her to trust him enough to speak to him in the latest episode.

She's not annoying. I find her to be incredibly strong tbh. She does do things for him like cooking meals, etc., even during the times when he's cold to her.
But she won't take his bad attitude lying down and lays into him plenty when the occasion calls for it.
When it's driven home to her that, as she sees it, he doesn't care for her at all, she takes incredibly risky and courageous steps to break away from him.
In response he holds on to her, becomes warmer and opens up. She realizes gradually that she's missunderstood him. While she's cautious in accepting his overtures to make things right between them and grow closer, she makes an effort too by accepting his offerings, risking her heart again.
She's not the the typical damsal in distress. She fought her her intial kindnapping. She threw him bodily out of the way from an oncoming vehicle. While he does save her on several occasions, she never comes across as floundering or weak. She faces things head on and makes brave, smart choices.
WHYYYYYYYY
My heart just broke, I love that secretary!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, sir, for your amazing work.
I could not have chosen a better Beak Sa Eon.
