And here in MDL I believe, we have viewers from different countries, different laws, different feelings... So really I feel we should just all have fun while here, agreeing to disagree!!
In my country 17, 18 is still considered a child more or less, so I get the idea that "shipping" between a child and a man of 27 years is kinda weird. I do feel a little strange at myself at times!
Again, I also get it that both Jeff and Barcode are professionals who are acting and doing a fantastic job, and really they have insane chemistry, that "shipping" them just is not MY FAULT!!!
And, what I'm trying to say is that I understand, both points of view. And I think both of them are valid.
So if we could just stop trying to show one of the ideas is above the other, I feel that would be really good.
I'm gonna give my two cents on the age gap issue, even though nobody really asked me!!
First, anybody has the right to ship anybody, any couple. That's a given.
Number two, people also have a right to feel it's iffy to ship two people where one of them is still a minor, a child basically (at least in certain countries ).
I don't think saying this is disrespecting or wrong in any way. I think we can agree to disagree, and to call out, or bully or fight over this is really not super fun, and maybe we should refrain from it.
Just let them ship real people as long as they respect.
I don't think they are exactly disrespecting anyone, they are really just stating their opinion about how they feel about two actors being shipped, given that the two actors have quite big age gap and one of them (at least in my country) is a minor.
