To be completely honest, I never felt attracted to the Dan/Yok storyline, but with that being said, and although I'm far from forgiving Dan, I do understand why he did what he did. I think the hardest part to reconcile with Dan's character is because he is probably the most realistic out of all the characters of Not Me. (I personally have seen/ read about so many people in the real world who have acted like Dan in their lives, even though they are not villainous people at all). And again, while I don't condone what Dan did, I can still empathize and understand him, and this belief draws me to say that Yok will at some point understand him too. Forgiveness is another story though...
My my, how you went from a complete Black hater to a Dan hater!!! πππ
Ooooo sorry, I triggered you! Love, if I might be a little presumptuous, and ask you to just take a deep breath and slowly release it, for like 10 times... It works fantastic to calm nerves
Black had already fired a direct shot at Todd. He had slid down the marble table ready to end Todd's life, with a flick of his finger. And yet, I've never seen anyone as comfortable to stare down a barrel of a gun as Todd. He stepped forward, willingly, knowing what Black is capable of, knowing how much Black 'hated' him at that moment, how much Black deserved to kill him. But none of that mattered. He looked at Black, eyes misty, stating, You can not bring yourself to kill me. Almost saying, and if you can, it is better to die by your hands, than being alive knowing we have gone too far, beyond us to be 'friends'... I loved how the scriptwriters wrote Todd. Like he is corrupted by power, which has warped his thinking, however, even the temptation of ultimate power fails to seduce this morally conflicted man to kill off the person who is literally out to end his life!!! Why?? Because of the affection and regard, he holds for Black, and yet he is the one who put Black in a coma! This dynamic is insane!! Like I thought Black was the most complex character in Not Me, but I think that accolade goes to Todd. He is the villain, I didn't deserve.
I never felt DanYok(sorry). I love Yok just not a Dan fan(sorry XD). But for the sake of their huge fanbase, I…
Same here, I don't know why but DanYok never drew me in like the other storylines!! I wish them all the happiness, but I'm just not as excited about themπ€·π½ββοΈ
Does anybody else get the feeling from Todd's words to Black, that he wants to give up the power to Black? Like he wants to acquire the power from Tawi's downfall, but he kind of wants to shift or share that power with Black, after Tawi is eliminated?! Like Todd doesn't want it all for himself... He is probably extremely misguided and toxic in thoughts, but there is something inherently tragic and simultaneously beautiful in the altruistic feeling he has for Black...
Their paths diverged fundamentally from differences in ideas, yet they are so entwined, so attuned to each other. They are so different, yet so similar, and they try to hate each other, yet inexplicably they get drawn even more into each other's darkness. I even get the feeling, that somewhere Black understands/ forgives Todd for whatever he did to him, and Todd only wants Black to join him, be with him...
It's like that song...
I hate you, I love you I hate that I love you Don't want to but I can't put Nobody else above you I hate you, I love you I hate that I want you
Who knew even Sing could act sooo well?!! I wish he gets amazing roles like these in the future that allows us to witness his outstanding acting chops!
I got the sense that Todd loves Black more than just a friend. Or Black would be dead
Yeah, I mean I do understand where Todd is coming from. Sometimes we need well meaning people with power to make a change, and I think this is where Black fundamentally disagrees with Todd, like he thinks anyone with power will be corrupt... But yes, I agree, I don't think Todd is out and out evil. And him and Black together can be such a freaking power couple!

Me too! Even from the hospital scene with Todd in one of the previous episodes, we do get the sense that he might actually be in love with Black. And honestly, Todd/ Black as a pairing makes way more sense to me than Black/ Eugene or Gram/ Black... Like Todd can go toe to toe with the ferociousness of Black, their intellect matches, and they can understand each other at a level no one else can...
Black: If you could go back, and kill me, would you do it? Todd: Give me infinite chances to return, and my decision will always be the same (that I can never kill you).
AHHHHHHHHH.... tell me they are not canon!!!
And Black is the MVP of Not Me. Hands down my favorite character!
I might be crazy but I feel Todd let's Black live every time, just so Black can just keep coming back to him... I'm sorry but I'm just drowning in Todd/ Black chemistry!! That scene was soooo epic!!
