agreed with this. for me it's just the inconsistency of the writing. if they hate each other they hate each other…
Yeah, writing for Gram's character arc has been so inconsistent, it makes no sense at this point. It's like half way through they decided Gram needs to be a dick-head and completely ruin all of his endearing characteristics and just hope audience accepts it without any qualms!
I think what disappointed me most about Gram in ep 12 is not the fact that he is not romantically interested in Black or that he has feelings for Eugene, it's that He is supposed to be Black's best friend and he couldn't see Black was hurting so much at that time when he came to say goodbye (Black literally had tears running down and almost choked!)... And he couldn't just give Black and Eugene a few moments of privacy because no matter what Black and Eugene had been in a relationship, and Black deserved to say goodbye to Eugene without Gram being present... Also he was so unbothered after finding out White was actually play acting Black, he didn't even ask or want to know where Black was during that time... I don't know, but I don't think this is how a Best friend or any close friend behaves...
After Sean-White reunion, and knowing they are endgame, the next thing I'm really excited about is Todd-Black enmity meeting, just to see what happens!!!

Sameee!!! I feel that Gumpa might be against Tawi for his own reasons, and so to take him down he recruited these kids and conspired with Todd to take Tawi down. He was unnecessarily harsh to Black (like saying White was better than him on his face), Gumpa also said he knew it was White, then why didn't he search for Black... Maybe he needed Black to be away so he could execute his plan, like bringing Tawi down so Todd can take his place... He is very sus at the moment

I kinda agree with the pacing, and I don't know, I might be wrong, but it could have something to do with the budget issue Not Me has been reported to have faced. But still, I'm enjoying Not Me way more than other dramas, not just BLs. And whenever I find a gaping hole in script writing, I go and indulge myself in fan-fiction!
I don't know what's going on in Gumpa's head. And he is the only one Black told about Todd, meaning he knew about Todd from before and never told anyone. He also figured out that White was role-playing as Black, but still, Gumpa never searched for what happened to Black?... Like what's his whole agenda?!
I'm gonna be so heartbroken if something happens to Black, tbh he is turning out to be my favorite character in "Not Me". Everything he does is to protect the people he cares about... He was misunderstood, misjudged from the very beginning. And I'm glad it's not Gram-Black and Eugene-Black, I don't think any of them ever even really understood him... At this point I feel, the only one who understands him is Todd (apart from White), even though he is Black's arch enemy. I need a whole movie on Black's life...
