I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with…
I am not assuming, I don't know how many times I need to type it out!!!
And it's ok if you don't assume/think the implied scenes, are hinting at a love triangle/competition between the MLs for the FL. That's ok, if you don't. But please refrain from being presumptuous about what I'm am assuming, according to you. I am simply following what the writers want me to follow.
I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with…
And that's exactly what I'm doing!! I am questioning the "romance", I am agreeing to question the male leads "relationship" and I am also looking forward to the developing storyline between Heejoo, her brother and Taeoh.
I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with…
I mean they are shown to be friends, if not besties... But then again, as with all the half-baked characterizations so far.. it could be interpreted as NOT-FRIENDS at all... I guess, then the story is about two not-friends, fighting over a girl and trying to one-up each other....
I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with…
Wait so you're saying the romance is a "valid distraction", basically agreeing that the sort of forced "romance" we are seeing is an integral part?? I mean I want to watch it from a different perspective, but the writers are literally shoving the love triangle kind of in our faces, even if we don't want it.
And "people nowadays" focus on whatever has the best potential, and best/most compelling story. If the story/plot is weak, we'll say it's weak, if the romance between the ML and FL suck we will say it does, and this goes for any plot point.
I agree, the script is not 100%politics (although that's what the tags suggest, that it is 100% politics) me who is shipping Taeoh and Heejoo currently, am okay with their romance developing story, cause they have that chemistry and their interactions have got me and so many others invested in them.
But to reiterate, I am not opposed to completely scrapping the romance and developing this drama only on the 3 leads desire for success and politics.
I am not asking, or actively searching for romance, as per your original comment, but since the writers are sort of trying to feed it to us, I am being compelled to pick the best option of Heejoo and Taeoh.
I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with…
Well then if people are getting distracted from the main story because of "romance" that's a fault of the writers that their "main" story is not good enough to catch the attention of the audience!!
If you want people to not search for romance then write a more compelling story so that we don't fall for the so called "noise" lmao
I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with…
It feels like they are setting it up as a love triangle though... It's too early obviously, but sort of, it definitely is hinting at the cliched plot of two best friends falling out by fighting over a girl... in the backdrop of family politics.
I think ppl will benefit more of the story if we watch this as it is: NOT a romance story. I know it's natural…
I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with the corporate espionage, politics and internal dynamics of the male leads.... I feel we are kind of being forced to watch this as a romance story by the writers.... I for one would be more than happy if they scrap the whole love triangle arc, cause honestly it makes no sense.
And the reason for so many of us "shipping" Taeoh with Heejoo is because even though they are definitely not endgame and mostly nothing romantic will ever transpire is because of the two actors chemistry.
I've had a ton of Second ML syndrome; first time though I'm getting Second FL syndrome lol.
Also I'd like to add that it's absolutely tragic that the telegraphed endgame ship for Taeoh is not with
a) his enemies-to-toxic-bestie he keeps proclaiming his unflinching devotion to (and has amazing chemistry with),
or even
b) his bestie's younger sister who has been unflinchingly devoted to him almost that entire time and who he is uniquely gentle (and has great CHEMISTRY) with,
but rather
c) the girl with a similar home life who is also using his bestie to get ahead and he doesn't seem to have much else in common (or really ANY chemistry) with.
Absolutely torturous that I'm going to witness this to the end. something's got to give. I hope their dynamic becomes interesting at some point because 4 episodes in, I do not care. so far Hye-won is most compelling as a tool to make Taeoh and Inha's relationship more complicated. she doesn't make for a good love interest for either male lead and she's not as interesting as I'd like her to be. I want to see her do something that grabs me. the other 3 steal the show whenever they're on screen.
I am just going to root for Hee Joo instead, ( please let it be like Itaewon Class)!!
Like:
She stands in front of your moving car. She takes off one of her heels and hits and dents your car. She goes to do it again and shouts at you when you stop her.
And you quietly take the heel from her hand, get on your knees and hold her foot softly as you put her heel on with your nimble fingers, and you stand up and tell her to go home.
And then you tell her not to fall for you.
Han Tae-oh seriously??!!!!.. And then come on.... they got that CHEMISTRY✨ going!!!!! I can't help but get up on the wrong ship again 😭 lmao!!!
And as long as Hee Joo doesn't go obsessive, or destructive, I'm firmly standing with you, girl.
i like the subtle romance between the forensic doctor and park joonyoungwhy is he so awkward around her XD
Subtle??!!! She is literally shouting at the top of her lungs at him to finally get the cue!!!! LMAO🤣 Poor girl, she has fallen for a dorky nerd, who probably considers her completely out of his league... But they are actually so cute🫶🏼
I really like the FL's character here. Obviously, she was antagonistic in the beginning, but she sure is one of the more level-headed female protagonists I've seen. And also I'm soooo happy, this isn't another "insta-love" cop drama.... It's more slow-burn, subtle, and quiet... but it's there too, slowly blossoming affection and understanding... I didn't expect the Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Kang Hyun pair to work, but it works... quite well in fact.
Also shout out to Detective Joon Young for being such an oblivious, dense idiot to Ji Won's very explicit signals lmao.

I am simply following what the writers want me to follow.
And again I'm not assuming anything. I'm open to it being a hate-triangle, or something totally different in the future.
But until it is not, it's just a lil bit cliche.
Except that the love triangle, might be the most cliched concept ever.
And I don't know if that sounds any better.
I mean I want to watch it from a different perspective, but the writers are literally shoving the love triangle kind of in our faces, even if we don't want it.
