This series has so many moving parts, (which is the best quality), that it allows us to make the same observations but also consider differential outcomes!! Also, I believe Sand and Nick are roommates, so whatever goes down with Nick (and Ray choosing sides) will influence how Sand will feel about this entire thing. Although I am also not entirely positive if Only Friends will give us real HEAs for any (or all) of the characters.

You know, that's what I thought at the beginning, but the more I re-watch their interactions the more I get the feeling that Ray is extremely lonely due to which he almost hunts Sand down, follows him everywhere, cock-blocks him and brings him back home, The fact that he likes Mew and Mew doesn't is also hurting Ray; and Sand seems to be the only one who makes him laugh and enjoy life in general. I really think Ray is the vulnerable one here who is going to catch feelings first and not Sand. Also because Sand is a pro, who does this as a way of living so if anything he will treat this professionally as long as he can. (I know the synopsis hints at the opposite, but this is my gut feeling!)
Boston's whole agenda feels like an intense dislike for Mew and for that he is kinda willing to do just about anything, also very subtly (not really though) we can see he doesn't really respect anyone's boundaries and simply does what he wants. I find him very intriguing, to be honest, villainous but almost completely transparent as a character even though he is still hard to understand entirely. It's so oxymoronic. And for this, I need Nick to figure out what and who Boston is, perhaps love him, and yet have the courage to bring him down to his knees. I need Nick to be smart and make Boston realize he is not the only one who knows the rules of the game.

Oh yeah! The side couple's gonna hate-fuck too LOL. And seriously Kanghan is a literal bully he is supposed to be super toxic and obnoxious like THAT'S THE LITERAL PLOT PEOPLE!!!!! Why is everyone so angry when that's the freaking story of this series, where the big, bad, terrible, horrible wolf undergoes *CHARACTER GROWTH* as he inadvertently falls in love with the feisty lil puppy? !!! (I am getting deja vu when I was watching KinnPorsche and trying to enjoy Vegas and Pete's story in peace, and everyone would come and be exactly this way!)
I feel I'm the only one who wants Kanghan to be more worse, before he gets better!!! Like gimme true enemies to lovers, gimme where hate feels more intimate than love, gimme angst, gimme confused feelings, gimme intense guilt, gimme the place where everyone is like Kanghan doesn't deserve redemption but (me and) Sailom are like but we forgive who we choose to forgive baby! Gimme all of the tropes!!!! (Also I can't wait for the side couple to get into it too. LMAO they're gonna be funny).

Well the point is he thinks he is above "everyone". So he does need to consider this "everyone" who are beneath him to be superior in some way. He needs to make them know and feel that they are beneath him for this dynamic to be maintained. And to do that he needs to be on a power trip on the people he thinks are justifiably below his level.
Like seriously, this rating thing is a complete scam. Also considering it has been only 1 episode. Makes no sense.
(And just an example of how shady this rating thing here is: A few days ago I went to look and check out the drama King the Land and it was rated 7.6. Then just literally the next day, in 24 hours, I went to look at the rating and it had jumped to 8.4 although the number of people rating it hadn't changed!! Like how does this happen?! )
I swear MDL rating's the funniest thing on this site! I don't even know why they have it when they don't remotely match the actual quality of the show!!
