i know, absolutely unpopular opinion but i saw so much potential with kwan and not. it reminded me straight up…
I agree! Where the bad boy realizes his girl is a diamond in the rough, whose heart he broke. And then grovels to win her back, while she finally realizes her worth and has now got a rich-nice-guy side boo... And so it begins!!
People hating on this show just don’t know how Japan works. This is one of the classic Japanese way of comedic…
How does not reciprocating/reciprocating to your partner have anything to do with being Japanese or Asian? I fail to understand the "Love" in their relationship completely. Like what exactly does Shin like about Minato? And vice-versa. Is it attraction, like physical attraction, or spiritual connection, or what? Their communication is non-existent for me to fathom the chemistry or the relationship between them. What is the problem between them and what is the whole point of this supposed problem, is what I fail to understand. I just cannot make sense of this relationship at all, following Minato's weird and contradictory reactions, and Shin's infatuation (for the lack of a better term). And Asuka and Shu are straight-up toxic. They have no communication, no trust, and no understanding of each other's feelings, and Shu is just absorbed and constipated in his own world for anything in that relationship to make any sense. In fact, Asuka and Shu's relationship is a whole ass red flag. As for Japanese BLs, there are sooooo many of them that have shown what a healthy relationship between people with different personalities, age gaps, financial status, and beliefs looks like. It's not about saying "I Love You" all the time, it's about letting the people watching understand why these two people ARE in love. And what is working between them and what is not working and how this couple is trying to work their way through. What are their motivations and goals and comfort in a relationship? And the series has completely failed to showcase this. Both relationships in this drama feel artificial and meaningless.
More than Minato's relationship, Aksuka and Shu's relationship frustrates me so much. Like are they even compatible with each other. Their relationship is such a huge red flag. There is no communication, no trust, no understanding and I just don't know what it's based on.
I feel Kawi and Pisaeng are that one couple who will simultaneously propose to each other at Disneyland! (AND ACT SURPRISED) They just give me that vibe!!
I don't think you understand God complex. God like powers maybe to travel across time🤷🏼♀️
This is the definition of god complex : It is a pattern in which an individual believes they have great power, ability, infallibility, influence, and are superior to others. It often refers to behaviors associated with narcissistic personality disorder or mania.
Wanting to save people you care about makes you human. Not God.
Pisaeng & Pear are childhood friends. And before Kawi’s dad died for the nth time, Kawi was still actively pursuing…
They don't owe her anything?!! WHaat?! Both Kawi and Pisaeng CARE about her! Sincerely they care about her well being. Which is what people do, care about other people. Just because you don't have romantic feelings for someone it doesn't mean you stop caring for them, especially when you are their friend!! WTF.
This drama has seriously one of the best scripts. Best out of GMMTV and the best of Jittirain, and dare I say, perhaps one of the better BL scripts in general out there.
And so it begins!!
