I still can't get over the feral darkness in Pete's eyes, in a split second, as it goes from shining with the hope of having everything he ever craved, to the bereft look of having all of it ripped apart by five gunshots. And then the gut-wrenching primeval scream like a wild animal. that had just lost its mate, to the crazed, complete automatic firing of his gun to kill the mortal who had dared to hurt his lover. And finally, falling down on his knees, and laying over Vegas' ribs crying in heartbreaking moans over and over again, shaking Vegas' lifeless body, holding and pushing his head down....
Build gave his all in that scene, and for the life of me, I can't find a better-acted scene in ep14. I really am grateful to Bible and Build, because, without their interpretation of these two broken, lost souls, I would never have had such a cathartic experience of Vegas and Pete.
I wanna see Vegas, Pete, and Macau go on a well-deserved vacation at Pete's Grandma's house. And maybe take Chay with them too, that boy is in some dire need of positive parental influence
