I thought the Pet thing Pete said while Vegas was about to blow his own head off as way to lure Vegas to stop committing suicide, because Pete thought thats want Vegas wants the most. But Vegas replied to that in the hospital that no, I don't want to you to be a pet, my pet or anything like that. It was a way Pete thought in a split moment was the only way to stop Vegas from killing himself.
That the bodyguard that shot vegas could have been anyone? It could've been Arm, Pol, Porsche, Kinn, or even Tankhun and Pete would've still killed him no questions asked, no loyalty or whatsoever he didn't even hesitate, didn't even think, for even for one second.
