nop I can never become a teacher I got no patience :P But I tutored my younger siblings (they hate me for it :P) but I get talk to a lot of teenagers of this generations, mainly I get generally along with them (proof I'm not doing any growing up :P) but they are really different from the teenager I was and my whole generation, & really maturity doesn't just come at a certain age, but varies form 1 person to another. I can;t wait to finish watching it ;)

if you check in the home page I added a comment on your "complete Suzuki Sensei" Yup I've seen it and a favourite "school drama". They talk about real problem of your average normal student. That is the point of the story actually, don't let the problem child overshadow the "normal" student because the reality is, they all are problem child, just more quiet about it. I've yet to watch the last 3 episodes though :( do you know where I can find them subbed?

I know!! I mean there was one drama Kaito Royal its 22 minutes each episode, and the subbud 8 out of the 9 episodes! I don't get it, I know its hard work and I am oh so thankful for them for letting enjoy japanese drama and know whats going on, but they leave you hanging, it feels so mean as if you're being punished for not knowing the language. What makes me laugh is korean drama fans who nag when the drama isn't subbed within the same day. We japanese drama fans are thankful for 2 episodes a month, or even less!!

As for DW the chemistry between all 3 doctor was awesome but John Hurt scenes her the most touching. The online episode was a nice foundation for the 50th anniversary, and it made me wish we got to see more from the 8th doctor!!

2 episodes in and I find myself liking this drama a lot. The story might seem a bit weird at first but I'm looking…
lol yea the alien seems to be capable of doing that to us :P
the 20 minute episode can be a good thing since they'll have no time to waste and the story becomes more focused but for this one I do wish it had longer episodes

Richard Armitage!! Irresistible!! The look in his eyes are so deep it sucks you in lol!!

I love the 10th and it was an extra delight to see him collide with 11th. John Hurt was also powerful and heartfelt as the war doctor and they gave us a nice twist in the end of it. Did you watch the online episode "Night of the doctor" that sets the story for "day of the doctor"? its 7 minute but very efficiently used.

So many good japanese dramas get dropped & I know I need to work harder to learn but it takes time!! Have you seen Suzuki Sensei? one of the best school dramas, but the never subbed the last 3 episodes ;( There's also Welcome to the onmyo shop or something, it only got subbed half way though I was enjoying it :(

It doesn't try to moralize anything or preach anything which makes it different from your usual japanese drama. We can discuss more once you're finished watching ;) I fell in love with both leads here!!

I'm not watching as many as I did last season :P right now I'm just hoping the current ones get subbed!! The one I'm most looking forward to is the "mysterious transfer student" seems interesting and I like the directing & the camera work.
For a whole summer I watched maybe every single british period drama available online. Little Dorrit was one of my favourite (along with one called "North & South" 4 episodes miniseries) and I enjoy Doctor Who but I've yet to watch the latest christmas special. Did you watch the 50th anniversary episode? if so what did you think about it?

The brother is pushy & unreasonable too!!

Soredemo Ikite Yuku is one of the best doramas EVER!! Do watch it its superb from writing to acting (Of God the acting was on another level) to directing!! Its full of emotional charge!! Tell me what you think about it as you go further, specially episode 8 where the emotional charge reaches a new level!

Their ending I was okay with, but I felt that there were many plot threads that were left open. Like Da Jung's relationship with the kids that was built slowly, she can't just leave like that cuz its hurtful even if she's not their real mom. I felt that the writer took that point too lightly!! Another point was the wife no matter what her reasons are, she decided to put lover above her kids, and left them for 7 whole years are a VERY critical time, I wanted to show that this will never be undone. Not only that she even got her lover back! I don't think she deserves it after being unfaithful and deserting her children like that. Call me judgemental but I just can't get around that. I guess what frustrates me is the warmth that she shows in the short appearance she does in the show is not in line with someone who'd leave her her kids behind. It just doesn't make any sense for me!!

I'm with you about death note! It was a hard watch I just couldn't stand Light but the Cat & Mouse was written smartly. But the whole time I was watching just to see Light DIE!!

Code Geass had a character that annoyed me to hell but it wasn't the main character though he was portrayed as Anti-Hero. You somehow understood his motivation and empathize with him but Mr nice guy in the show (you'll know when you watch) is the one that annoyed me because his excuses for him actions felt like that, just excuses and felt petty. I won't spoil too much but let me tell you this show had an amazing ending that made the whole watch worth it!!

PM&I was perfect for the first 13 episodes, episode 14 & 15 were good but by then you know its going in the wrong direction but keep hoping they don't, but in the last to episode they do EVEN worst then you expected, and its all stupid when all is forgiven for ppl who didn't do anything to get forgiven!!

Well Naoki Urusawa's art is not conventional but it is pretty famous in Japan and he keeps working that way he does without being affected by the masses.

Death Note... took me forever to watch because the first time I saw it, it was an episode that showed exactly who the main antagonist is by killing the fiancée of a detective he caused his death. When I did watch it was really to get to the end of it. Though it was interesting & different. I usually use DeathNote as bait to get ppl to watch anime. Have you seen Code Geass?

lool yea its all about the MOOD!! Me too if I don't feel like it, then I just don't! Anime I'm not too sure if I don't like it I just stop watching, I've been disappointed that the past few seasons there's nothing that WOWs me like it did before, too many second seasons and fan service. In drama there are many, specially Korean (many in my dropped list :P) most lately has been Prime Minister & I, because the whole last 2 episodes did not make sense, and the other was Japanese Hakuba no Oujisama that even though the ending made sense it just proved me that the main character never grew or changed, and she just pissed me off!!

I didn't realize your not in my friends lol I'm enjoying this I feel we have a lot in common ;) Yea Nine did really well and treated the subject matter really well as oppose to just using it as a trope for a romcom or something.

I watched the 1 episode special of Steins;gate but the movie not yet

Shin Sekai Yori is interesting but it may continue to make you feel uneasy all the way, which I think its one of its strength because it makes us question our selves. Mawaru is a peculiar one I enjoyed watching it when it was airing cuz there was a lot to say about it and it was fun reading different blogs about it each episode until everyone watches the next one.

I've heard good things of Planetes and been meaning to watch it but I haven't heard of Terra E, Dennou Coil & Nisha rokubou no Shinichin will definitelly check them out when I get the TIME!!
Have you seen Shin Sekai Yori & Mawaru Penguindrum?? Both are very werid in their very own way lool.
I've seen Nine and really enjoyed it but Steins; Gate definitely wins in the Time travel department as well as in the romance and human relations department.

Yup minor characters in Monster were as interesting as the major ones. Its funny how I was talking about that anime to one of my colleagues at work today :P
I like a Variety of anime. Another favourite is Natsume Yuujinchou. Its a bit unnusual about who sees spirit, but despite seeming to be a light show, it goes dark places, specially what it means to be an orphan, and the episodic stories are sweet and stay with you a long time. Last year I watched Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) which ws very good too but waiting for a season 2! I don't know if you've seen Steins;gate love the characters and the whole being in over their heads :P Baccano! is one hell of a great comedy though hard to keep up with the story. Cowboy Bebop is a fave. Zetsuen no Tempest surprised me. Also though not an Anime Avatar: the last air bender is a fave of mine ;)
What do u think? Any suggestions?

you've just convinced me! XD
As much as "Can we get married?" Frustrated me I enjoyed it because of its realism and constant, though growing, characters and the story follows through seemlessly. What i got from your article those good points were carried to that drama. I got no time right now but as soon as I do i'll give it a go (going in my ptw list;)) but yea your evil plan worked :P

Monster is definitely one of my favourite anime as well & as I said before i'm a fan of the Mangaka I love the characters, the way the the mystery unfolds. In the respect Kurokouchi is similar. Its not episodic, Its not about the characters but how the mystery unfolds. You'll like it if you like conspiracy theories because the base it on accurate facts.
As for the smurfs I didn't enjoy it much I find it cheesy. I guess what I liked about the cartoon was the sense of community they have, the unique characters & how the deal with things together. I don't really care how they find New York. I honestly dont remember much of the movie.
