Cute show

This was a cute show.

However... it is like a lot of other cdramas/kdramas... ok just about any drama. In most dramas (including in the US) there is always a reason for the main leads to break up close to the end of the show. Sometimes it is for stupid reasons and sometimes a valid reason (but not always🙄). It drives me nuts! And this show was no exception. Sometimes I just want to see people be realistic and learn to trust one another and work things through together. Just like the main lead said when she broke up with him. 🤦🏼‍♀️

As for the story line, that was my main hang up. 👆The acting was good. The music was good also.

Would I rewatch it? I would have to see.

Good show

I liked this show. The acting was great and the story was good to a certain point.

As for the story... I liked its originality. I was so relieved there as no monster mother to interfere with their relationship...haha just kidding!!!! No it was not a mother but a friend who held a lot over the main lead actors head! They did not come right out and say that she was holding something over him but it was there. I could tell from the beginning that she was going to be a problem. Sometimes I hate these shows like this. I really get frustrated when they do not “end” things or say what really needs to be said. The main actors just stand there and say nothing! I don’t know if it is the Asian culture not to speak your mind or just an American way to tell it how it is... but so many of these shows piss me off in the way the main actors take a beating and don’t say what really needs to be said! They just stand there and let themselves be put down. 🙄 Grow a spine and stand up for yourself! If I was the main lead and my friend/partner did what she did to him... she would have lost my trust and my friendship. I would have nothing to do with her. People like that are toxic and I stay away from them. I am glad she realized what she had done but she really had no right doing what she did and I would have told her that instead of how they ended it. Oh well it was a good show none the less. Just my own opinions.🤣🤪

Will I rewatch it? Ya I probably will. There were a lot of parts I really liked. I liked the actors and I loved the slow romance between them. I also liked the way she worked through her issues and finally worked it out with her parents instead of being angry with them. I like the fact that they gave you a hint of a possible love story for the actors friend/ex partner.

Wow! This show is amazing!

This show was amazing! I was so impressed with the story and the acting! Don’t forget the awesome soundtrack!! It is one of my top favorites on Viki! I will be having my husband watch it with me next. I talked him into watching Masters Sun and he loved it. I think he will enjoy this one also. I think he was mostly amazed at the acting and story Kdramas can spin.

The first part of the drama was a bit hard to get into. I will be honest... it took me a few months to really get into it. I was not sure what to expect. I saw a clip of the drama on Facebook and was shocked it was this show. It hooked me. So I decided to go back, buckle down, and just watch it. I am SO glad I did!! This is one you don’t want to miss!

The lead actor did an awesome job playing several different personalities. He is a great actor.

Another show low rated here that is really good!

Here is another show on here that is low rated yet on VIKI it is a 9.7/10! 🙄 Not sure why people rate it low because this was one of the best shows around! I have watched it twice now and the story gets better each time!

The story line was really good! The main actor has something traumatic happen in his youth but the brother feels guilt (for leaving him behind) and takes it on himself that it was him that it happened to while the other brother suffers in silence and bears the scars to keep his family together. The main actress also experienced the same trauma yet forgets it.

You will have to watch it! The story is really good and well put together. The acting was perfect. It is heartwarming and perfectly told. OST is really good to! I have almost 400 songs from these dramas downloaded and this is one I listen to over and over again!

Don’t trust the ratings and go watch it your self! It is a great show!

Don’t trust the low ratings here! Go watch the show! It is really good!

I am really surprised to see such low ratings for this show here. On VIKI it has more true ratings at 9.6/10. Trust me these ratings here do it NO justice!! Just watch it it is worth it!

This show was really good and heartwarming. It made me laugh and cry. I thought the acting was perfect and the story was simple and was told just right. If you are looking for something action packed this is not it. Instead it is a good and simple story. Reminds me of a Hallmark show but this one is WAY, WAY, WAY better!

I had to download the soundtrack on Amazon. It is also good!

I love both the actor/actress. I have seen them in other shows that are also really good. They were a perfect fit and loved to watch their love slowly build. A great watch. Don’t trust the ratings here!😉

W is one of the best dramas!

This shows ratings.... no MOST of theses dramas ratings are not right! They are rated way to low and so is this one.

I have watched this drama 3 times now. Twice on my own and once with the family. They LOVED it! So much to the story and so many twists and turns! The first time watching it... I was on edge! Told the fam to leave me be so I could finish it. 😂🤣 One of the best dramas out there to watch!

The acting was spot on and I am just amazed at how well Koreans can tell a story and the emotion they show throughout each one! I am hooked on Kdramas forever! So many good ones out there!

Great show! Added to my favorites for watching again!

Sorry this is long but I really liked this show. And so I have to tell you why.

First of all, Riley Wang has really grown in his acting. I first saw him in “I Hear You” and fell in love with the show even though I felt the acting lacked a bit and he was not really playing the violin and it showed (I know because I have a daughter who plays and you can see he is not playing the high notes or moving fast enough to match the music). But I don’t dis the show because of that! It is a good show worth the watch... ok back to this show. I love him in this! He did a great job.

Second, the main actress also did a great job! She is a cutie and can act! I thought she was perfect for this part and her and Riley had great chemistry.

Third, the storyline was really good and well written. It flowed smoothly. I did not skip anything or get bored with any of it. And this show really surprised me! I really thought “Hear we go again... the parents are going to object to them🙄!” Ha! So surprised! It was nice to see the parents be “real” in their reactions to meeting them and accepting their children’s love for each other. I also thought, again, “Hear we go again🙄”... another show where they break up because she got injured and did not want to hold him back from pursuing his piano career. I was about to turn it off. And I did for a day. I really did not want to watch another show of immature idiots. If you really love someone and something happens to you you communicate with them and let them help you work through it. Trust me I have been married long enough to know communication is really important in any relationship! Ok back to the show... I was pleasantly surprised with this show and how it was written. Thank goodness it was a nice mature relationship and they stayed together and worked through their problems and worries. So I gave this show 10/10 because of that and how well it flowed. If I had one complaint... and this goes for more shows than this one... I really get tired of them not making it perfectly clear to the person who they are not and never will be interested in that they need to stop and move on really clearly. It drives me nuts!! And I know why they wrote it the way they did, but sometimes it is maddening!😂

Rewatch? Yep! Already in my favorites on Viki. Such a good show and also, love the music! Go see it! It is worth the watch or 2, or 3, or more times!😉

Another great drama for me!

I have not give a drama all 10/10 in a while now. This one deserved it! It is about the realities of life, love, and dreams. Reminded me a bit of “You are My Glory.” This one ranked right up there for me. There were 2 scenes they kept showing on Facebook that told me it is a must watch. The first one was when she was in the meeting room and they were trying to frame her and her grandfather came in and set them all straight! It was one of my favorite scenes. The other is when he finally went after her and made it clear he wanted to be with her. I laughed at the guy who was trying to court her! The look on his face was priceless! If you watch it you’ll know what I am talking about.

Storyline - was well done all around. The only parts I skipped was some of the memories of what happened. I watched all the ones that pertained to the main leads because I had to see what each one went through and how it all overlapped. It made me laugh, cry, and happy that the FL was strong and not weak. This is one FL I can relate to. Loved this storyline.

Acting/Cast - loved the FL/ML and all the support cast. Their stories were great to watch. They did an amazing job!

Music - was great! Fit the drama perfectly and dang if I cannot find it on Amazon! I would love to have the OST.

Rewatch - YES!! I am adding it to my once a year (probably twice a year) favorites to watch.

Long but was… Ok could have made the script shorter and better.

This one is a hard one for me. I really REALLY wanted to love it from beginning to end. The storyline caught my interest but sad to say it sort of lost me. I will explain some of the reasons why in “Storyline”.

Storyline - was a bit long and drawn out. The constant get-together-then-breakup drove me NUTS! So much could have been taken out. Sarah was a selfish woman and had not put the best interest of the children ahead of her own selfish desires. The memory loss bit could have gone away. It was unnecessary! (Memory loss is so over used it really needs to be ditched! It is getting old and boring!) So was her “I’m pregnant with your baby”. Come on! Get real… eye-roll! I do like how he did get his memory back and kicked the bad witch out. Was a great scene! (I do have a bit of wicked side to me lol and I was so loving this scene). But… Seriously can you stop writing so many dramas where the parents are over-protective/controlling to the point it is nauseating!?? The dad constantly going on and on about sending her to America was old right from the get go. The birth mother was selfish and so was her father. What he did to his wife and wanting to “stay by the ex’s side till she got better. Oh please let me do this this once!!” I give the wife high marks for wanting a divorce! It was not right the way he acted/treated her over his ex. I was shocked and appalled by his attitude.

So much of the heart ache could have ended if the two selfish parents would have just butted out of their daughters life. The daughter is an adult for crying out loud! Let her make her own choices! To many of these dramas are that way though! It is really getting old. I could sit and pick this drama apart but I will stop here.

Other than those hang ups… I liked most of the drama. I am glad they did not wait until the last 5-10 minutes to get them together. The story IMO could have used some polishing and made it a shorter drama with a better storyline.

Acting/Cast - did a great job. I really did like the main leads and hated those that were against them lol. So for me they did pretty well.

Rewatch - 50/50 for me. I liked it BUT there is stuff I mentioned and stuff I did not that might keep me away. We will have to see.

Not a romantic comedy at all!

I did not like this show. No where was it a romantic comedy or even close to what they showed in the trailer.

The guy was a total creep for what he did to her. Looks like she never changed because she is taking another guy to the same places she went with the ex. Also buying the same shoes as she did for the jerk! Also, she is dating someone with almost the same name! Sad that the cycle started all over for her. I feel bad for the new guy because he seemed sweet and does not realize he is a stand in for the last guy. The ex could not decide who he wanted in the end and was a shallow jerk. But on the other hand she was no better.

Acting was good! I have seen the two mains in other shows and liked them both. That was one of the only thing I liked about this movie.

If this is what modern relationships are like... PASS! I feel sorry for people. No loyalty at all! I guess I am just a bit old fashioned.

Rewatch? Nope and if I do it will be a VERY VERY long time.

Perfect story. Loved it to the end!

Well... I watched the Pillow Book before this one and loved the story very much! This one I have had in my watch list for a long time now and I am glad I finally watched it!

Story... was beautiful. Did I skip some? Ya ONLY because I wanted to find out what would happen next and was to anxious and impatient to find it out in some parts.😂🙄 Sorry that is me. Sometimes I skip parts or episodes because I cannot wait to see what happens! It was really good though! The last 30 episodes I was glued to! The ending was going to make me mad but I am glad I was not disappointed! I did love how they intertwined the Emperor Lords story into this one. Now it makes me want to watch that one again!

Cast... was so good in this! They did an awesome job. There were a few I so wanted to see get their just rewards and I am so glad they finally did. The two main leads I fell in love with and could not get enough of the story they told.

Music... was beautiful! Wanting to find it on Amazon but no such luck!☹️

All in all this show was great! I loved the story and the acting. I will be watching it again along with Three Lives Three Wolds The Pillow Book. Now I am off to watch the second one and I am excited that there is a third one coming out soon! I hope it is as good as this one.

Was good till the end☹️

I REALLY wanted to like this series. I really did. But my BIGGEST hang up is the ending. So that is my honest opinion and reason why I rated the “Story” and “Rewatch Value” lower.

The story in itself was really good! I thought it was well written and executed. (All but the ending)

The actors did an amazing job! Especially the Main Lead! For one, he is cute!😉🤪 And two, he did a really good job at playing a bit of a psycho! Everything flowed and came together just right.

Rewatch? I might if I really want to. For now... I will watch the movie version even though it is lacking all the important stuff the series has. At least it has an ending that does not leave you hanging.

Long review but I have to get it all out! One of the most heartwarming dramas!

For those who dropped this drama or wrote a bad review about it (without finishing it or at least most of it)… your NUTS! It is a really really good drama! From beginning to end (I hope! I am not there yet but it is up to ep. 38).

I was going to write my review several times but I am glad I waited until episode 38. I was going to knock down the storyline some and give it 9/10 but now I don’t have the heart to do it! Episodes 37-38 made my day!!! This is an excellent drama! It has the controlling parents (which I REALLY hate! But keep watching it gets good). Family. Drama. Love. Hate. Loyalty. Honor. It has it all! I laughed! I cried! So many times I wanted to tell the FL to grow a backbone and stand up to that awful mother! I loved how when she finds out what the mother did to the ML she finally had had enough. That mean woman held on though. Still thinking she was right and the the FL cousin brought her to her knees! It was the most rewarding part of this drama! Her revenge for her cousin was perfect and suitable!

Storyline - was really well done! Loved it all so far! I could say that YES, it was to lengthy and some of the “filler” could be taken out. But a good drama that is well written and well acted can suck you into the lives of every person portrayed in it! This drama did that for me. I was invested in ALL their lives! I cried when the firemen’s family’s cooked and sent the meals to them so they could have a taste of home. I cried when they lost a comrade and when the doctor/nurse cried in the movie theater for her loss of having him around. I cried when the ML was almost killed in the earth quake and the FL realized it was him. I laughed in so many parts I cannot count. I hated some of the people in the drama also. So to me, a drama that can touch on ALL my emotions is a really good drama! So 10/10 for me! Well done writers!

Acting/Cast - man where to start? Yang Yang - so I have seen a lot of his dramas/movies. I own one drama and one movie. He is an excellent actor! I love that he has grown so much over the years in his acting. He was kind of stiff in the first ones I watched and in “You are My Glory” I say a new side of him. A softer more relaxed side. But in this drama I saw an even bigger change..for the good! He has outdone himself in this drama. He is more human, if that makes sense. To me he is no longer just a good looking guy. Oh he is a good looking guy but now he is so much more! I can’t wait to see what he does next! As for the FL Wang Chu Ran- she is a good actress. I felt she was a wee bit stiff in this drama but that could be the character she was portraying. She did a great job! As for the rest of the cast… they did an awesome job! The mother - I was always told if an actor can make you hate them then they are a good actor. She did that so I give her thumbs up!

Rewatch - YES! YES! YES! It really was good! I want to watch it again but I will wait!

Another cute fluff and stuff drama!

This is a cute, light, fluff, and stuff drama. I really like this show. Even though it has a typical storyline.

Storyline - not original but was good. It flowed smooth and kept my interest mostly in the romance of it. I really am grateful for there being no parents involved or really against their relationship. A little bit of love triangle but not to bad. Just enough to make me want to kick someone’s butt!😂

Acting/Cast - I think they did a good job. A bit stiff in some areas. I would look for more shows with the leads and watch them again. I would like to see how they grow in their acting.

Music - I liked the music as I do all Asian drama music. It has become my favorite to listen to since I started watching these dramas.

Rewatch - yes! I would. Because it was light and smooth and I good romance! No parental interference that makes my blood boil! Haha I tend to hate shows like that.

I liked it but...

This was one of my first K/Cdramas that I watched. I was getting tired of my Hallmark shows and fed up with Hollywood not getting any quality romances out. Most everything that looked or sounded good (here in the US) was rated R and I am not one for those shows. So I decided give the K/Cdramas a try. This and “Someone Like You” were my first shows and I liked the stories. So for this show...

I have watched this three times now. Twice before the second one came out and then again when the second one was out for a while.

I liked this show but I felt that some of the actors acting fell short. Their acting was not fluid. It was almost like watching robots at times. But that being said, I still watched it three times!

The storyline was good up to a certain point and then it went wack! I kept expecting them to have a happy ending but then the main actress gets kidnapped and that got drug out for a few episodes and then the the main lead is in a coma for an episode or two. And THEN she gets kidnapped AGAIN! Really??? It was just to much. I wish a lot of that was taken out and ended it when he woke up.

Other than that... would I rewatch? Yes, just because I kind of like most of the story and it was one of my first dramas.
