So ep 1 to ep 26 - siblings relationship

Ep 27 - the truth is revealed, end of sibling relationship

28 - kiss scene (probably fake/dreamed up, or forehead kiss or possibly between second leads)

so ep 28-40 to deal with:

- reveal the identity of the fl’s real father

- moving her into his mansion & built that relationship (if we follow the novel)

- start & end conflict with the fl’s adopted sister once she moves in (if we follow the novel)

- transition from siblings to lovers the relationship between the fl with the ml

- resolve issue with sml (he will likely kidnap the fl at some point and the ml will come to her rescue)

- resolve the framing case against the ml’s master

- for the ml to study and pass the imperial exam

- for the mariage + kid

- that’s on top of dealing with other matters and giving screen time to other characters…

I wished they had ended the sibling relationship sooner. They will probably keep the wedding and the birth of their child at the very end (less than 30
min).

Second Master Luo is sure going under the radar in the jab department. Best believe I would have made a comment to remind him how he acted towards the ml in the past at ep 25. Be like « third brother had to secretly study when he was little, so happy his master believed in him unlike some people (look at the dad) » lol

Ep 25: they really muted her explaining the relationship with the sml…smh. I would’ve liked to see how she verbalized everything smh

decent I can live with but fish/wide eye kisses I seriously cannot.

ah ok thanks everyone m. Sometimes the kisses are such letdown that I would rather they don’t kiss at all. I guess we shall see soon enough

Can this ml/fl deliver a kiss? I dropped almost all the ml’s other dramas and never saw him kiss anyone. Also first time watching a drama by this actress. I am asking because someone in the comment section said a kiss is scheduled for this Friday…can a scheduled kiss be a fake or dreamed up one? is that something they would put on the calendar?

so all this took place two years ago or last year before thr current events ? do we know how old the sml is?

Ok, the more I think about it, the more I raise my eyebrow. I may have miss key information (due to skipping)…

1 -WHY is the 2sml having such a hard time confirming the identity of his Mei Mei/fl. Surely other people saw her? and could recognize her? I mean, there were a bunch of soldiers and his “fiancé” at the cliff? Surely one of them could provide a description ? drew a sketch? a stick figure? anything? You mean to tell me he couldn’t drag anyone to confirm her identity or secretly drew of sketch of the fl and ask people around.

2-did they even provide us with a timeline of their relationship? I mean, the fl is around 16 now…so her “relationship” with the sml took place when? how long did it last? how old is the 2sml?

So many questions.

I haven’t watched ep 23-24 yet.

How old is the fl in the drama?

Cdramas sure know how to turn red flags mls in novels into the greenest flags. The ml here does not ressemble the ml in the novel. Same observation in his previous drama AYTO.

I just find this whole scene unnecessary, that’s all.

The perk is being able to hold her as he would not have been able to even touch her if he was not in this sibling relationship as men and women are suppose to be separated.
