So there’s no Korean remake of Have a crush on you? I saw “One Spring Night”…didn’t they change the plot in the Chinese version, so that instead of a son, he had a sister that relied on him?

In the drama, before the amnesia, they were a couple (likely just kissed, if even that), but she saw zi yu in what appeared to be a compromising position with another woman, so she broke up with him. Not sure how deep her love for him was, as it has yet to be explained.

Now that she remembers everything, she hasn’t made her move to go back to Zi Yu. It appears based on trailer of ep 23-24 that she will leave the ML and they are introducing a possible love triangle between her, the ml and Zi Yu.

In the book, there is no love triangle as the ml would not have let another man get close enough to steal her away. Also, the fl lusts after the ml and his good looks so she only sees him.

I didn’t know there was a Korean version? what’s it called? Yes, the actor is great but I didn’t like the character at all, and that fl with no personality, and backbone was such a turn off. Why are you rushing to his place to babysit after divorcing him? you owe him nothing!

I attempted to watch the fl’s two previous dramas (have a crush on you and fireworks of my heart), and her character lacks a personality and a backbone in both. Nothing on the actress. It was really the character she played. I ended dropping both dramas. The ml in have a crush on you is one of the worst and you have this no backbone marry sue of a fl giving him her time and day. I could not take it! lol

Ep 20: I find myself completely skipping whenever the second leads appear. I see them, and I’m like “time to skip” lol. I hope I am not missing anything important?

he doesn’t? I have only seen him in minor roles. Any good drama where he is the lead aside from the one with Bai Lu, which I couldn’t get into?

how’s primary wife, the ml or ziyu? didn’t you comment that they would be married by ep 22?? where is the mariage lol ? is it still expected? I haven’t watched ep 20-21 but from the comments look like she’s prepping to leave it

Before the spring scene, the deception had been going on for almost two years. He lost control at the spring scene because the fl added some aphrodisiac by mistake in the wine and he lost all rational though after drinking. He was 100% firtatious in the novel, and 100% committed to the fl and making her his wife. Reading his antics were so funny. Their interactions were fun to read and their fights almost always ended in the bedroom.

oh ok, thanks. I think I’ll wait for more episodes before picking this up again.

The drama deviates majorly from the novel starting at ep 16: the spring scene. In the novel, the ml loses control due to the wine served by the fl and they end up doing the deed and they do it more than once that night and the nights that follow. Shortly after the spring scene, the fl finds out the truth through her uncle: she is not married to the ml. She also finds out his real identity. She is upset that he lied and used her, but also took her v-card. She still has not recover her memories. The ml does not grovel and basically tells her to get over it so that they can plan their future (asked her to become his concubine). He even blames her for losing control. The fl leaves him without saying goodbye. He can’t follow due to the war but he is mad, sad, and upset. He sent his people to spy and monitor her every move. He is in a foul mood. When he is finally able to leave and can no longer take the separation he goes after her with marriage in mind (making her his official wife). He tries to seduce her every chance he gets, and succeeds. All this happens around chap 50-60. I haven’t finished the novel. I got to the part where he followed her with marriage in mind. She gets pregnant and they have a kid together. Apparently, the fl recovers her memories towards the end of the novel.

I imagine by ep 21, the truth will be revealed? I am already tired of this whole deception game between the two.

Did they really just kissed in the streets of ancient China? lol
